When your Sim is taking part in the Seven Wild Dates challenge in The Sims 4: Lovestruck, they’ll need to go on seven dates in one week, and each date needs to be picture-perfect for the cameras. It’s a tricky challenge to be sure, but the rewards are more than worth it.
Complete Seven Perfect Dates In Seven Days To Win
Being invited to appear on the Seven Wild Dates reality show in The Sims 4: Lovestruck is arandom eventthat may happen when your Simanswers the phone for an unknown caller. There are plenty of challenges that start this way, but there’sno way to force the phone call, it seems. Ours came from Valentina Nadir.
When youdoget noticed, you’ll be offered the chance to compete on the Seven Wild Dates reality show. The stipulations are laid bare: your Sim needs togo on seven dates in a week, and not only that, butall seven dates need to reach the perfect scorebefore time runs out.
Once you’ve accepted the challenge, you’ll immediately receive aunique moodletto the challenge thatkeeps count of how many dates you’ve been on, starting with “Zero out of Seven Dates” at first and increasing as you successfully have perfect dates during the challenge’s runtime. You’ll need tocomplete one perfect date by the end of each moodlet’s durationto be marked as a success on Seven Wild Dates
By default, most of these give a boost to how Flirty your Sim is feeling to help get them in the mood for love, but the final moodlet instead makes them Tense as the challenge nears to a close, adding an extra hurdle to the final step of the challenge. You may want to get your Sim in a better mood another way before leaving for the last date.
You don’t have to accept the invitation to be on the show if you’re not up to the challenge, though - it takes some dedication to have everything go just right on Seven Wild Dates, so if your Sim doesn’t have the time to commit to a dating spree, it may be best to pass.
With the challenge active as soon as you accept it from the phone call, the seven-day timer begins! Immediately, you’ll need tobegin going on dates as soon as you start the challenge, but it’s wise to firsttend to your Sim’s needs before leaving for the date. Nothing tanks a date faster than peeing yourself at a restaurant, right?
Thankfully, since youmanually set up dateseither by contacting existing partners orsetting up a profile on Cupid’s Corner, the Tinder-like dating app exclusive to the Lovestruck expansion, you can choose toset easier-to-attain goals for each date. It doesn’t even seem to matter which type of date you have, as long as you go on a date.
Since the goals of a date are dictated by the actions you set as date activities, it may be best tocater your date to each partner. Anytimeyou go out with someone, consider your relationship with that Sim before picking a date type and the activities you’ll do together with the time.
Thankfully,the seven dates can be with any Sim, any number of times. If your Sim is in a committed relationship with someone, it’s time to take their partner on a whirlwind week of romance! If your Sim is currently unattached (or is polyamorous), you can also complete these challenge by going on seven different dates with seven different Sims.
It’s a good idea tolean into the Flirty mood given with the challenge moodlet, since it’s always helpful to feel Flirty on a date! A lot of these activities boost the Flirty mood themselves, and moodlets stack, so the more Flirty your Sim is feeling on a date, the better it’s likely to go. Sims with higher Romance skills seem to do better in this avenue.
