How Long Does It Take To Beat Dragon Age: The Veilguard?

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a long game, no matter how you approach it. If you want to rush through the story,How Long To Beatstatesyou’ll be able to beat it in about 15 hours. That does include doing very little side content and ignoring any opportunities you’re given to explore.

There are 15 parts to the story, broken into three main acts.

However,for most players, it’ll take around 60 hours to beat the game, playing at a steady pace on normal difficulty and diving into some of the side content, maybe romancing a companion along the way.

When you save the game manually, you’ll be able to see how much time you’ve spent playing to give you an idea of how far from the end of the game you are.

How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent?

If you want 100 percent Dragon Age: The Veilguard, you’re looking at a lot more time spent playing. With hundreds of chests to find, tens of Altars to activate, andseven different companion quest linesto finish,you’re looking at roughly 80+ hours to 100 percent complete the game.

If you want to clear out side quests and collect chests quickly, you can lower the difficulty to make beating the enemies roaming Thedas easier.

Helpfully, if you head to the map screen in Dragon Age: The Veilguard,you’ll spot your overall completion percentage in the top left of the screen. Then, if you hover the cursor over a location you can travel to, you’ll also see the completion percentage for that individual place.

To get 100 percent completion on an individual location, you’ll need to complete all side quests, find all Altars, and open all chests hidden. Some are behind puzzles you need to complete, so finding them all will take a long time.
