Last year, TMNT fans were introduced to a brand-new version of the Turtles in a new movie, Mutant Mayhem. That loveably teenage batch of Turtles is now back with a brand-new game calledTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed.
Mutants Unleashed tells a new story that takes place shortly after the events of Mutant Mayhem and sees the Turtles dealing with a new batch of mutants that have arrived in New York City. With October being such a busy month, you might be wondering how long it’s going to take to see the adventure through.
How Long Does It Take To Beat TMNT: Mutants Unleashed?
Despite being a movie tie-in game that’s aimed at kids, Mutants Unleashed is asurprisingly lengthy game that’s packed with missions and voiced cutscenes. It’s on the easier side of TMNT games, but there’s still a lot of content here. If you’re aiming to just beat the game and not engage with the side content at all,you’re looking at around 9 - 12 hours of gameplay overall.
While Mutants Unleashed is generally easier than the likes of Shredder’s Revenge and Splintered Fate,it still packs a fair bit of challenge, especially if you’re a younger player. That playtime could be extended if you have trouble with the game, but since Mutants Unleashed works with a Persona-esque timer between missions, it should remain the same overall even if you use Mutagens to make things easier.
How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent TMNT: Mutants Unleashed?
Although you can just blaze through Mutants Unleashed’s story missions and not bother with the side content, the unique way that the game is set up makes it very easy to just do the side content alongside the main missions, as you’re given time to do so. Still, getting through all of those social events, raising enough XP to max out the Turtles, and finding every collectible will add a few hours on to your playtime.
Overall,to 100 percent complete Mutants Unleashed, you’re looking at around 12-15 hours overall, which is what it took me to do everything but the collectibles. There’s not much else you’ll need to see or do in Mutants Unleashed,so it could feasibly take one playthrough to 100 percent complete if you go for everything.
If you’re specifically thinking about the platinum trophy on PS5, most of them are awarded for completing the side missions and finding the collectibles, so it should come pretty naturally without much extra effort.
