Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remasteredis a graphically-overhauled version of the 2011 Grasshopper Manufacture game that received quite a bit of hype before its original launch. It saw multiple Japanese legends collaborate on the same project (Suda51, producer Shinji Mikami, and composer Akira Yamaoka), and this remaster provides a great opportunity for younger gamers to experience their shared vision.
The story follows Garcia Hotspur, a hunter who travels to the underworld after his girlfriend, Paula, is kidnapped by Fleming, the Lord of Demons. Throughout the game, you’ll battle hell’s hordes, each step getting you closer to your final showdown and reclaiming your lover. Shadows of the Damned promises a wild ride, but how long will it take to complete?
