Remnant 2is back with its third DLC, known as Dark Horizon. Like the previous expansions, it introduces a new adventure, this time in the N’Erud world, allowing you to uncover new secrets, meet new characters, face new enemies, tackle new challenges and puzzles, and, of course, encounter new bosses.
While it may not be immediately clear how to start this DLC and dive into the experience, there is only one requirement you need to meet to access it. This guide will help you understand how to access the brand new Remnant 2 DLC, The Dark Horizon.
How To Access The Dark Horizon DLC
After you download and installthe Dark Horizon DLC, you can access it through the World Stone at Ward 13, but there is a requirement.
If you’ve previously played the base game andcompleted the N’Erud world, fast travel to Ward 13, the hub area of the game, andinteract with the World Stone.
Select Adventure Modeand then click on the option that saysReroll Adventure Mode.
In the next menu,scroll all the way to the right, and you will see the option topick The Dark Horizon DLC.
If, by any chance, you picked up the game for the first time,you will need to complete the N’Erud story mode in the campaign.
Fortunately, this is the first world you must complete in the game. Once you finish its story, the steps for accessing the Dark Horizon DLCremain the same.
When you select the Dark Horizon DLC, a prompt notification will appear, indicating that your first time playing the DLC will bea One Shot Adventure.
This means that during your initial playthrough of the DLC,you will experience all the new content in one go.
Remnant 2’s random world generation won’t occur until you reroll the DLC, so before doing that, make sure to explore everything you can during your One Shot Adventure since rerolling will randomize the areas, events, and placement of certain items of the Dark Horizon DLC.
