How To Beat Acheron Seeker And Ice Raven
One of the biggest headaches during the battle with Acheron Seeker in Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis is its frustrating penchant for usingSpirit Drain, which chooses one of your teammates andsiphons 100 SP from them, giving it back to Acheron Seeker (who often doesn’t even need to replenish its own SP - it just doesn’t want you to have it, either).
As such, you’ll all but need tobring SP-replenishing items, just in case. You can also choose togive a teammate an accessory or piece of gear that increases their max SP, ensuring they won’t be left with nothing should Acheron Seeker choose them as the target. This is especially frustrating if you’re not at the end of your exploration for the night, though you’ll be able to use the clock at the entrance to heal up after the fight if need be.
Though Acheron Seeker’s weaknesses are annoyingly different from its Ice Raven support Shadow’s, you may safely hit both Shadows at once using Slash, Strike, Fire, and Electric damage, and one of the Shadows is weak to every one of those damage types, ensuring you’ll get a follow-up attack if it hits. We say “if” becausethe Shadows can evade the damage types to which they’re weak, meaning you may be in for some misses if you haven’t boosted your accuracy and evasion.
A good way to approach the battle is touse a multi-target move of these elementsto damage both Shadows, and then use your follow-up attack to strike the weakness of the Shadow that’s still standing so you can trigger an all-out attack. These Shadows have impressive HP pools, so the more damage you can do to them at the same time, the better.
