There are many enemies that you can find exclusively inGenshin Impact’sNatlan. While many mobs are easier to beat, you will encounter some tough adversaries. You need to have a strategy in mind to take such strong opponents down without much trouble. It’s also essential to exploit the weaknesses of your enemy.
The Wayob Manifestations are found all over Natlan. They can be a pain to beat considering their defense mechanisms; you have to focus on breaking their shield and following it up with strong attacks. Defeating them might unlock a few chests, or you can obtain the materials that they drop.
How To Beat Wayob Manifestations
Wayob Manifestations are strong enemies that pose a challenge because of their strongdefensive mechanisms. If you do not take them out quickly, they can be that much of a nuisance to deal with. The easiest way to win against them is touse sheer power to defeat them before they summon an arenain the field.
To find Wayob Manifestations in Natlan, you can use your adventure book to mark their locations.
They willdrain you of the energy you have accumulated for your Elemental Burst, but you should only focus ondepleting its shieldbefore the arena disappears. Your characters' attacks will be strengthened during this time, so focus on landing as many hits as you can. You will get some of your energy back if you successfully destroy its shield.
If you couldn’t deplete the shield bar completely, you now have to prepare to destroy Wayob Manifestation’s barrier that protects it from damage. After you destroy it, the enemy will be immobilized for a while which is your cue to deal a lot of damage.
There are three types of Wayob Manifestations namely the Foliar-Swift Wayob Manifestation, Flow-Inverted Wayob Manifestation, and Rock-Cavernous Wayob Manifestation. They all have different strengths and abilities that you need to counter.
The Wayob’s may be guardingan exquisite chest, so if you beat them, you can claim the rewards inside the chest including some Primogems. The enemy drops someShard of a Shattered Will, Locus of a Clear Will, and Sigil of a Striding Will. You can use these materials to ascend your Natlan characters and weapons.
How To Beat Foliar-Swift Wayob Manifestation
The Foliar Swift Wayob Manifestation is a Dendro type enemy which means that you shouldnot bring any Dendro characterto the battle considering itsstrong Dendro resistance.
Adding a shield character to your team will help you avoid the Wayob Manifestation’s attack quickly.
Pyro characterswill deal a lot of burn damage to the manifestation. you’re able to also bring Hydro and Electro characters forDendro reactionslike bloom, hyperbloom, aggravate, spread and burgeon. Some strong Pyro characters includeArlechinno, Yanfei, Hu Taothat you can use in the battle.
How To Avoid
The Wayob Manifestation willshoot a beam of Dendro energytowards you.
To avoid the beam hitting you,quickly sprint to one of the sides, as soon as you see a faint light emitting from the enemy in a straight line.
The enemy will do some Dendro attacks in across-shaped range. It will repeat this a few times, beforegrowing some spikesaround itself.
You have toobserve the projected range of attack and stay out of it, notice the symbol beneath the enemy which indicated that the enemy is going to do this attack sequence. The final spike attack will catch you off-guard, so we recommend you attack the enemy from a distance.
The Manifestation will sometimes inflict someDendro damage in a circular area.
Before this attack,notice the symbol below youthat the enemy has just marked. After that the range of the circular attack will be shown, to avoid itsprint away quickly.
The enemy willsummon a circle in front of itthat constantly deals dendro damage.
Get out from the circle’s rangewhen you see it.
How To Beat Rock-Cavernous Wayob Manifestation
The Rock-Caverous Wayob Manifestation possesses the Geo type which means that you don’t have to bother aboutelemental reactions to deplete its barrier. Hard-hitting Claymore attacks or using Geo characters will be all you need to beat this enemy efficiently.
Some powerful characters that you may use to beat this Manifestation includeNavia,Zhongli,Arataki Itto, and Ninguang. Navia is the strongest out of these options, and you will be able to take it down in no time. You can alsouse Eula in the battleconsidering her outstanding physical damage.
Attack Description
The enemy willmark a rectangular area in front of youand will deal Geo damage.
When themanifestations projects a square on the ground, you have toquickly sprint out of it, to avoid getting damaged by the rocky spikes.
It will sometimes dealgeo damage in a cross areafollowed by attacking with rocky spikes in front of it.
Avoid the attack areawhen the enemy projects it.
If you go near to it, the manifestation will sometimes hit you with aspiral attack.
As soon as you see the wind forming around it,quickly get awayfrom the enemy.
The enemy will doGeo attacks in a cross-range areaa total of three times, it will be followed by a rocky attack in a circular range.
Deal damage to it from a distance whilestaying away from the attack’s range.
How To Beat Flow-Inverted Wayob Manifestation
The Flow-Inverted Wayob Manifestation is a Hydro enemy soavoid using Hydro characters, unless you are using them for healing. It’s effective to useCryo, Electro, and Pyro charactersto trigger Hydro reactions that will deplete the barrier faster. The best strategy is to keep the opponent frozen which will prevent it from doing a lot of damage.
Wriothesley is going to be helpful as a Cryo DPSto fight against the Wayob, as it can deal continous Cryo damage that will keep the enemy frozen. you’re able to also useRaiden Shogun to inflict Electro reactionson the enemy.Qiqi is going to prove excellent healerin this battle considering how she can contribute in keeping the enemy frozen.
The Hydro Wayob manifestation will shoot somewaves in a cross-ranged area, and then attack you with a large wave in the circular area.
Brace yourself to avoid this attack as soon as you see a symbol beneath the Hydro Wayob, and theavoid the projected range of the attack. After it attacks you three times, quickly sprint away to avoid the final wave attack in the circular range.
Themanifestation will summon a bubble in front of it, and then pop it to deal hydro damage.
Notice the whirlpool emerging on the ground,sprint away from itbefore you get caught up in the attack.
The enemy willshoot a water lasertowards you.
As you see the enemygathering some energy in the middle, you have to quickly get to any side to avoid getting hit.
It will sometimes alsopop a small bubbleat you.
This bubble doesn’t take a lot of time to charge, so as soon as you see it, you have toquickly run away.
