Black Myth: Wukongfeatures a wide variety of spells and transformations that aid the Destined One on his journey. Some of these spells and transformations can be acquired by simply playing through the story, while the rest require you to go out of your way to obtain them.

The Ashen Slumber Transformation turns the player into a Two-Headed Rat Guai, but finding and acquiring it can be tricky as you must take on a short quest, which can be very easy to miss. However, even if you’ve missed it for the first time, you may always go back to claim it.

How To Defeat The Two-Headed Rat Guai

The Two-Headed Rat Guai will keepswinging the sword in its hand while blowing out smokefrom one of its heads.

You’ll have to be wary of the smoke as the boss can ignite the smoke on fire, causing a large explosion that deals a lot of damage andstacks the Scorch Baneon the Destined One.

The best way to defeat this boss is tokeep your distance from the smokeand let it ignite it first before approaching him. Use theImmobilizeSpell to freeze him and deal a considerable amount of damage.

The boss’s melee attacks are fairly easy to recognize and avoid by dodging, and his moveset is also quite limited.

After you’ve dealt some damage to the boss,he will ignite the swordin his hand. The sword will then stack the Scorch Bane on the Destined One if he gets hit by it.

To quickly defeat the boss, you may also use theRed TidesTransformation to deal a lot of damagewithout worrying about the explosions killing youin the latter half of the fight.
