The Sims 4always has a way of hiding fun little collectibles in its games, and the Lovestruck expansion brings not only hot dates to the fourth iteration of the game, but it also brings a cute new collectible: more than a dozen different axolotls!
These cute critters can be found in logs all around the new world of Ciudad Enamorada, and you’ll definitely fall in love with these little guys. With 15 different axolotls in The Sims 4: Lovestruck and a couple different rarities, you’ll need to keep your peepers peeled for these reptile pals all around Ciudad Enamorada.
How To Find Axolotls
As you’re wandering around looking for love in The Sims 4: Lovestruck, you may notice the occasional oddlog randomly placed in Ciudad Enamorada. Since the axolotl collection was added with the Lovestruck expansion, you’ll only find these logs popping up inthe world from this pack.Axolotls count as collectiblesif you’re pursuingthe Curator aspiration, too.
You’ll often find themin the park in Plaza Mariposa, Media Naranja. There’splenty of greenery around the area, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for them, but these logs will specify that you’re looking for axolotls when you look for them; they’renot the same as the frog logsyou may find as well. Once you’ve located one of these axolotl logs in The Sims 4: Lovestruck, all you’ll need to do isinteract with the logand tell your Sim to search for a new reptilian pal.
Plaza Mariposa is also where you’ll findthe Ring Bear side quest, so stop for a chat if you see a sullen blue bear hanging about.
You’ll spend plenty of time at the lake in that park as part of the quest, so you may as well check for axolotls while you’re there trying to catch a specific fish, too. An axolotl log reliably spawns near the top right part of the heart-shaped lake.
There are15 axolotlsin the collection, each with a uniquerarity scorethat makes it easier or more difficult to find. There aresix common axolotls, five uncommon axolotls,andfour rare axolotls. After you’ve collected a few different axolotls, try breeding them to make new ones! you may do this about once each day, so the more axolotls you have, the more you can breed.

Collecting all 15 axolotls in The Sims 4: Lovestruck will definitely take some doing, but we always love a good collectible in TS4. Maybe you could eventake your dates to the parkas your special outing - if they don’t vibe with your axolotl collection, then you know they’re not the one!
