How To Complete A Goblin’s Important Job In Throne And Liberty
Upon reaching theCarmine Forestfor the first time andactivating its Waypoint,you will gain access to theA Goblin’s Important Jobside quest, allowing you to tackle it almost instantly afterward—something we strongly suggest doing, as it won’t take all that long.
With the Waypoint active,begin tracking the questandpull up your mapto see the first step of the quest isjust west of the Waypoint.It’s nearly directly beside the thing.Follow the marker from here until you reach the first stepof the side quest!
You can either follow the trail up and around to the Old Goblin Town or run down the steep slope from the Waypoint directly to it; either way, it is quick and won’t take all that long to reach.
Talk To Goblin Lich At Old Goblin Town
Once you arrive at theOld Goblin Town,you will see thatit has been flooded,andLich will be standing off to the side,desperately looking for some help.Speak with Goblin Lichandagree to help them drain the waterfrom the town via the nearbyDrainage Devices,leading you directly to the next part of the quest.
Control The Drainage Device
There will befour Drainage Deviceshere, and - at first -it may seem like you have to utilize all of them somehowin order to extract all the water from the town. However,it’s not nearly that convolutedand is quite simple. Simplywalk up to one of the Drainage Devicesandbegin spam-activating itrepeatedly until the water is gone.
Youmust hold down the activation key until the bar fills upcompletely, which will thencause water to pour out of the Drainage Device.Keep hammering on the Drainage Device until you’ve successfully unflooded Old Goblin Town, allowing you to proceed to the third and final step!
If all four Drainage Devices are somehow being used by other players, you must wait until one becomes available to use it, as you cannot interact with an object currently being used by someone else in Throne and Liberty. This shouldn’t happen, but if it does, just patiently wait your turn!
Talk To Goblin Lich Again
Aftersuccessfully draining the waterfrom Old Goblin Town,Lich will thank you and quickly run into a house and retrieve an itembeforereturning back to their initial spot.Patiently wait until he does that and thenspeak with him once moreafterward.
Finishing your conversation with Lich will have them leavethe area,completing the A Goblin’s Important Job side questalong with it, giving yousome decent rewards for your efforts.While you won’t get a unique or rare weapon or a bizarre Morph out of it, you will get upgrade materials and a good chunk of EXP, making it worth your while.
