TheCuteness Crushevent will only run from5:00 October 31 to 4:59 July 26, 2025. After the event period passes, you won’t be able to obtain any event-specific rewards, such as theInto The Woodsphoto frame or theWarm Snowflakesaccessory.
Updated on November 06 by Eva Csaki:We’ve updated this guide to add the daily prompt for the final poster and a list of items you’re able to use to complete it.
Cuteness Crush Photoshoots
Cuteness Crushis just one event in a series ofrecurring photoshoot eventshosted by OTTO-PHO. OTTO-PHO returns frequently withnew assignmentsfor each of the love interests. Each event has adifferent themeand different rewards, but thegeneral layoutand objective is usuallythe same.
To complete the Cuteness Crush event, you mustcreate seven dynamic couples' photosto serve as posters for OTTO-PHO’s promotional event. Every day of the event, you are givenprompts to guide your photoshoots.
Prompts can give valuable information aboutwhat items, poses, and stickersto use in your posters toget three-starsat the end of the shoot.
Some prompts are more helpful than others, though, andnot every promptwill be straightforward.
Sometimes, you’ll be given anobvious clueas to what items to include. These obvious prompts might mention ashape or color, for instance. Other times, though, you’ll be given a prompt that asks you tocapture a general feeling or idea, and that can get tricky.
Don’t sweat it, though! We’ve done the hard sleuthing for you and willupdate this guide every daywith suggested items for each prompt.
How To Complete Photoshoots
Now, here comes the fun part! When youenter the eventfor the first time, you’ll get thrown straight into thefirst event cut scene. This first cut scene will introduce the overarching theme of the event photoshoot.
For this particular shoot, you and Zayne are tasked with creating funphotos that match the theme of ‘adorable pets.‘Every day, you will need to shoot a new poster image, using OTTO-PHO’s promptas a reference point.
To start creating your posters, select thefirst empty poster slotyou see. Poster photos will either be taken inGlint Studio or Snapshot.
You can only complete postersin order!A new poster unlocks every day, but unless you’ve already completed the previous poster once, youwon’t be able to skip posters.
Once you’ve selected your poster and have entered the Snapshot or Studio screens, you canstart using OTTO-PHO’s daily promptto select items, poses, accessories, and outfits for your photo.
Glint Studiophotos havemore elementsto consider and will usually requiremore complicated layoutsand more items in your photo.
At the very end of the shoot, you’ll get toedit your photo. Don’t skip this step!Stickersare one of thebest waysyou can boost your score during a photoshoot, so load up on as manyrelevant stickersas you’re able to think of.
Once you’ve taken all the shots you want to take, you canchoose your favoriteand submit it for review as your poster print.
Once you choose a photo for review, youcan’t go backto any of the photos you took during that shoot. If you don’t like the photo you chose, or you don’t get as many stars as you hoped, you canchoose to restartthe shoot from scratch.
If you’re certain you want to use the photo you submitted for review, you canclick the ‘print’ buttonbelow your photo frame. Printing a photolocks it inas that day’s published poster.
Posters submitted for review will be given astar rating. The best rating isthree stars. You should aim to get three stars onallof your posters.
Event rewards are granted forhitting star thresholds, so if you want to earn all the rewards in the event, aim for at least 16stars. You can earn atotal of 21stars over the course of the event.
If you end up wanting to redo your poster print, you’re able to still go back, even after publishing your photo.Selecting the poster againwill ask you if you want to replace it with a new photo and, given youselect ‘continue,‘you can start the photoshoot all over again.
Keep in mind, though, that youonly have 20 Printing Attemptsper day. That means that you’re able to only redo your photo shoots20 times each dayof the event.
How To Complete Every Poster
Every day has a different prompt, which means thatnot all postersare completed the same way. However, there are somegeneral poster-creationtipsthat will help you with every poster. You may not have items or accessories that match the day’s prompt exactly, so it’s a good idea toemploy these basic tips.
For starters, poster photoshoots thatshowcase Duo posesperform much better than shoots that only contain single characters. You can still technicallyearn three stars on single charactershoots, but it’smore difficult. After all, this photoshoot is acouples’ shoot, so it’s best to stick to couples’ poses.
Choosing to use photos that only showcasea single character can work, but they’re more reliant uponcertain outfits and accessories. Thus, if you own the right items, you may do well.
Another great way to ensure you’re squeezing the highest star value out of your shots is togo all out with your sticker usage. The more stickers, the merrier. Photoshoots with a higher sticker and accessory countperform betterthan bare-bones shoots.
If you ever need more stickers or accessories, remember you can alwaysget more in the exchange shopsor byspending Diamonds and Crystalsin the regular shops. TheChocolate Shop is the bestplace for affordable photoshoot items.
Even though there are general tactics to employ in your shoots, you may want a morestep-by-step walkthrough.
The following listscomprise the items that worked bestfor us when creating our three-star shoots but are not comprehensive.Everyone will have different itemsand accessories in their arsenal, so don’t forget toexperiment with what you have.
There isno one size fits allapproach to these shoots and there arethousands of combinations, if not more, that can work for your shoots, but if you’re looking for afew ideas for what to use, you’re in the right spot.
Poster One
The prompt for Poster One is: ‘Add a touch of vibrantGreento your pet-themed poster and bring it to life!’
This poster’s photoshoot is aSnapshotshoot and won’t have as many elements to consider as a Glint Studio photoshoot would.
The great thing about this prompt is that it’s one of the morestraightforward prompttypes you can get. To succeed in this shoot, try toincorporate as many green items as you caninto your shoot. These can beaccessories, outfits, stickers, and evenbackgrounds.
Youcan’t change the photo framefor Snapshot events, but you will earn the event-specific frame as astar progress reward.
When creating our posters, we had the best luck using the following items:
Every few days, you canearn ten Diamondsjust for sharing your Snapshots!
Poster Two
The prompt for Poster Two is: ‘Holding my breath, I click the shutter, capturing this moment just for us and the cute pets, as if it’setchedin time.’
Like Poster One, this photoshoot is aWink Snapshot, which means you havefewer elementsto worry about in your final photo.
Unfortunately, the prompt for this shoot is a little vague. When we took our photos, we instead aimed tofocus on pet themes, which worked just as well!
This shoot was actuallymuch easier to completethan Poster One, and wedidn’t need to put stickerson all of our shots. We got away with four three-star poster photos that didn’t have any stickers on them, and onewith stickers that performed just as well.
Here’s the list of items that worked well for us when creating our three-star posters for this shoot:
After completing this poster, youunlock the second Story Stageof the event. If you complete this poster and the previous one with three stars, you will alsounlock the first progress rewardfrom the rewards bar.
Poster Three
The prompt for Poster Three is: ‘Click, click! Capture the grand meeting between him and the littleanimals!’ This photoshoot is aGlint Studio photoshootand will require more elements than a Snapshot shoot.
The prompt gives a helpful hint about what elements to use in this shoot. If you want to get three stars, aim toincorporate items that have animals on themor haveanimal-like qualities.
After completing this prompt and the prior two prompts with three stars, you willunlock the second event reward.
Poster Four
The prompt for Poster Four is: ‘Surrounded by little animals, he seems to be fine with looking evencuteron camera.’ Like Poster Three, this poster will be a Glint Studio photoshoot.
Since we’re not given an objective hint in the prompt, we tried to choose items that had atraditional ‘cuteness’ factor.
Here are the items that worked the best for us when getting three stars on our poster:
After completing this poster, you will be thrown directly into thethird event story. If you complete this poster and the prior posters with three stars, you will alsoearn the third event reward.
Poster Five
The prompt for Poster Five is: ‘Head out intonaturetogether and capture precious moments with those cute animals.’
‘Nature’is a pretty straightforward hint for this Snapshot photoshoot. Tryincorporating natural elementsinto your photo and sticker usage, like poses thatshowcase flowers,or natural backgroundslike parks or the ocean.
Here is a list of items that worked well for us when creating our three-star posters:
Poster Six
The prompt for Poster Six is: ‘Addsnowflakesto your pet-themed poster and create a masterpiece with a unique atmosphere!’
We’re back at theGlint photoboothfor thepenultimateshoot of the event. Luckily, there is a pretty sweetsnowy backdropyou can use in the Glint Photobooth, and it will help make your poster pictures pop. To buy the backdrop, head over to theChocolate Shop.
Use the ‘Warm Snowflakes’ headwear that you earned as thethird event rewardfor a boost on your final poster rating.
Since the additional theme to this poster shoot is ‘snowflakes,’ attempt to incorporatesnowflake stickers, snowy backgrounds, or wintry outfitsinto your shoot. The great news is that Zayne has several winter-themed outfits to choose from.
Pet-themed items will still work just as well.
Here are some items that worked well for us when making our three-star posters:
After completing this poster and all others with three stars, you will unlock thefinal event reward.
Poster Seven
The prompt for Poster Seven is: ‘Hisgentlenesshides in his eyes, sometimes revealed in the moments he interacts with cute pets. Capture the moment now.’
This poster marks theend of Cuteness Crush. After thisGlint Photoboothshoot, you will watch the last story stage of the event.
If youskip, miss, or fail to completea story stage, youwon’t be able to replayit from the Love Timeline.
We ran with the theme of ‘gentleness’ for this shoot and tried to create an interactive image that conveyedZayne’s gentle, loving nature. To do this, we opted not to use a premade duo pose, but tocreate our own.
We chose agentle solo posefor both Zayne and our Hunter and used thecharacter positioningarrows to position them next to each other so that theyseemed to be interacting. You canuse this trickany time youdon’t have a duo posethat matches the vibe you’re going for.
Here are the items we used when creating our three-star poster:
Once you submit your photo, you may watch thefinal event storystage andcomplete the event.
Story Stages
While a new poster prompt will drop just about every event day, you will alsounlock special story stageson certain days and after completing certain milestones. Each Snapshot event typically hasfour story stagesto unlock and play through.
Here’s the schedule for when story stages drop during Cuteness Crush:
Chapter Four - Treasured Moment
Complete all posters.
If you’re not feeling like putting the effort into getting three stars on your poster, you’re able to alwayssettle for a low star countjust to trigger the next event story. Youdon’t needto have three stars on your poster to start the next story stage.
Cuteness Crush Rewards
As you accumulate stars in your photoshoots, you’ll notice yourreward bar will fill up. After hitting certain star count milestones, you willearn special event rewards.
You can check your event progress at the bottom of the screen at any time.
