InPlanet Coaster 2, you’ll spend most of your time thinking of new rides to thrill your guests and delicious food and drink options to serve. However, as you progress through the campaign, new challenges will arise. In the very first chapter, you’ll be tasked with restoring an ancient theme park to its former glory.
There are four sets of objectives to complete to fully revitalize the park, and we’ll walk you through every step to ensure the operation goes smoothly. Here’s how you’re able to make the most of the rundown coasters in Planet Coaster 2 to bring in new guests!
Bronze Objectives
When just starting out, you’ll have toget a few simple rides upand running first before you may work on the bigger coasters. You’ll also need togive guests the basic comforts, like a food shop, and hire your first staff members.
Here’s what you need to do to complete the bronze objectives for this park:
Build A Food Shop Facility
Open up the facilities tab andsearch for a stall with a burger iconnext to it. Pick any of the food stalls andplace them in your park. Be sure toconnect them to a pathwayso your guests can reach the shop and purchase snacks.
Each food stall serves different items, and guests have different dietary needs. For a complete list of shops, check out our guide here!
Once you’ve placed the stall,be sure to open it! You canadd scenery to match the park theme later, but for now, you can move onto the next task.
Hire A Janitor And Mechanic
Now that guests have food, and before you can start opening rides, you’ll want tohire some staffmembers. Specifically, you’ll want tohire a janitorto keep the park cleanand a mechanicto operate on the rides.
For acomplete guide to staff members, check out our guide here!
Open the staff stab, thenselect the janitor and drop theminto your park. Do the same for the mechanic to hire them both. You canhire as many as you’d like, but you only need onefor the objective.
Complete And Open The Gomkuva Ride
Your next step is torestore the first coasterin the park. Gomkuva is thecoaster on the lower level towards the far endof the park. You’ll notice there are a few places wherethe track is broken.
You canrestore the coaster however you like, so long as it’s complete and able to function.
The best way to restore the coaster is touse the autocomplete functionto connect track pieces!
Once the coaster is complete, make sure to power it! You’ll need toplace down a power generator and a power distributor. Ensure the distributorwithin range of the coasterpower it up.
Open Two Flat Rides
The last task for the bronze badge is tobuild and open two flat rides. You can choose fromany of the premade flat rides or customize your own. Your best options arebuilding a teacup ride and a swinging ride, as they tend to generate more traffic.
Place them anywhere in your park, power them up, then open the ridesso your guests can enjoy them. You’llearn the bronze badgefor the park and be well on your way to earning silver!
Silver Objectives
After you demonstrate your skills in getting the old park up and running again, it’s time to work on making it thrive. Toearn the silver badge, you’ll need to continue expanding your park, restoring the ancient coasters, and creating new attractionsfor guests to enjoy!
Open A Third Flat Ride
The first task is to open a third flat ride.It can be a duplicateof the previous rides, though you’ll bebetter off placing a new typeof flat ride. If you’re aiming for the platinum badge, this will come in handy later.
Again, make sure you have enough power in the area to open the ride, thenbuild the queue and exit pathsto usher park guests in and out of the attraction.
Now would be a good time tohire more mechanics and ride attendantsto make sure the park runs smoothly!
Complete Vereenti Donc
The next ancient coaster you’ll need to restore isthe blue one in the center of the pond. This coaster is a bit more tricky to repair, butautocomplete will be your best friend.
Make sure toconnect all the piecesof the track, thentest the coasterto see if there are any gaps. Once the coaster is safe to open, start welcoming your guests to the attraction!
If you haven’tbuilt a second power generator, this would be a good time to add a few more.
Build And Open A New Coaster
Next, you’ll get to experiment withmaking your own coaster. There areno restrictions on what you can build, so use your imagination to come up with something unique! You can alsopurchase a premade coasterif you have the room in your park.
If you’re in a hurry, you’re able to make a short and sweet coaster thathas a single drop and circles around the platform. While guests can be picky, they’ll enjoy simple rides.
After you open your original ride, you’llearn the silver badge. This marksthe halfway pointin the restoration project!
Gold Objectives
With the gold objectives, you’ll need to show that you’re really contributing to the park. You’ve alreadyopened several rides, but there’s still more to do to really make the ancient coasters shine!
Have Five Flat Rides
You’ll alreadyhave three flat rides open, so place two more around your park. It’s okay if they’re duplicates!Connect pathways to the entrances and exits, then power up the rides and open them for guests.
While not a requirement,it’s worth adding some sceneryaround the rides to increase their appeal. This will also help with later objectives.
Don’t forget you canadjust the ticket price of your ridesto draw in more guests!
Complete Drewst Roda
It’s time to restore the third coaster in the park. With this one, there areeven more parts missing, and you’ll need to build sections of the coaster yourself from scratch.
This wooden coaster haslots of twists and turns, so don’t be afraid tomove around the existing piecesso they all fit together nicely. After some trial and error, test out the coasterso you can verify there are no breaks in the track.
Place another power generator or two within rangeto keep the ride operating without any gaps in power!Open the rideand let the guests provide valuable feedback on the attraction.
Complete And Open A New Coaster
Again, you’ll get tocreate a coaster of your own design. Choose what you’d like andfind a place within your parkto start building. There are no restrictions on this project, so build to your heart’s content.
Keep an eye on the ratingfor your coaster so that it’snot too scary or extreme!Otherwise, guestswon’t want to ride it, and you’ll have wasted your money.
The last gold objective is toThis specific campaign requires you tohave several shopsin the same scenery group before you canrun the Retail Ravers ad.
Organize a location in your park where these shops can be joined, thenplace them close enough togetherto register them in the same group. When you’re ready, open up the guests tab,, and run the ad campaign for Retail Ravers.
You’llearn the silver badge for completing all the objectivesthus far, bringing you one step closer to fully completing the park!
Platinum Objectives
The final stretch of this scenario is tofully restore the fourth coasterand increase the park’s overall rating. You’ll need to focus onimproving the scenery and guest experiencesto make the park thrive.
Complete Glenk Rokkota
Restoring the final coasterwill take the most amount of effort when compared to previous coasters. Much of the ride is broken apart, and you’ll need toexperiment with where the track pieces connect.
Autocomplete will only take you so far, but you canfreely edit the coasterto achieve your goal. Once it’s complete, test it out and open itto the public!
Increase Guest Happiness
The next step is toraise guest happiness. You’ll need to haveat least 3,000 guestsin the park with anoverall happiness rating of 80 percent. You can see how guests feel bychecking their individual thoughtsor viewing the guests tab.
In the tab, you may seewhere your park can use some improvement. Whether there’s trash all over or not enough bathrooms available, you can take immediate action to improve the overall guest experience.
Changes won’t take effect immediately, and itmay take a few in-game hoursto see the results.
Increase Daily Income
The next objective involvesraising your daily income above $200,000. The easiest way to do this is toraise the prices on your most popular rideswhile also opening moreshops for food, drinks, and merchandise.
If you want to make more money, you canbuild a pool and a couple flumes to entice guests to buy a water park passat guest services.
You can alsointroduce premiere pass lanes on your busier ridesto provide additional income. It will take time, but you can easily reach this goal if you havea variety of rides, shops, and happy guests.
Increase Park Rating
The final objective is toincrease your park ratingto four and a half stars. You can check your park rating from the menu and see what aspects hurt you most.
Having avariety of ridesis important. From coasters toflat rides and water attractions, having plenty of choices will greatly raise your park’s appeal. Make sure toto bring in more guests and give them a good time.
It will take patience, but you canraise your park ratingwithin a few in-game days to meet the objective andearn your platinum badge!
