The second aftermarket part in Season 6 ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is the JAK Lance Kit. This turns the MCX Guardian into a discount railgun, firing slow-moving bolts that will instantly kill an operator. It’s a powerful weapon up close, but it’s held back by its lack of projectile speed and limited attachment options.
Today, we’ll be looking at how to unlock this AMP and how to complete all 21 challenges added this week. This includes every set of challenges added in Multiplayer, Warzone, and MWZ. But first, let’s talk about how the JAK Lance Kit works.
Week 2 Challenge Reward
This week’s unlock is theJAK Lance Kit for the MX Guardian, a full-auto shotgun from MW2. If you don’t have this weapon unlocked already, you can earn it throughthe Armory Unlocks system.
While installed, the MX Guardian is converted into a railgun that shoots highly-pressurized bolts at targets. It’s aone-hit kill anywhere on the body, but this comes at the cost of projectile speed and fire rate.You’ll need to seriously lead your shots past 20 meters to hit anything with this gun. Each shot is preceded by a short delay as well.
Despite the in-game description, the gun’s bolt pressure doesnotincrease passively. This is most likely a bug.
