You’ll be surprised by the number of bosses you encounter as you progress inBlack Myth: Wukong. Each fight features a unique boss with its own set of attacks, ensuring that you rarely feel like you’re fighting the same boss twice. This variety is one of the game’s strongest aspects.
During boss fights, you may also meet various characters in different regions. Taking on their quests can reward you with useful items, such as new spells, transformations, or crafting materials for powerful gear for the Destined One.
Before you can start the Daoist Mi quest,you must complete the Venom Daoist questlineandunlock the secret area in Chapter Four.
Note thatthis quest is missable.
How To Start Daoist Mi Quest
After reaching thesecret area in Chapter Four known as Purple Cloud Mountain, continue forward until you encountera snake wrapped around a tree. Interact with her, and she will request your help while cautioning you about enemies ahead.
Once you’ve interacted with the snake,proceed normally until you arrive at the second Keeper’s Shrine, Petalfall Hamlet.
Go through the torii gate and take the stairs up to find Daoist Mi. Following the cutscene,Daoist Mi will ask you to find a specific item for him just in the village ahead.
How To Complete Daoist Mi Quest
Now, to obtain the key item for Daoist Mi,you’ll need to defeat enemies in the village area.
The item you’re looking for, theViolet Hail (Key Items),is a random drop, so you should kill every enemy you encounter in the area to increase your chances of obtaining it.
If you defeat all the enemies and don’t get the Violet Hail,return to the shrine and rest to respawn the enemies, then defeat them again.
Once you have the Violet Hail,return to Daoist Mi and interact with him to hand over the item. This will trigger a cutscene leading to a fight against Daoist Mi, which you must win.
After defeating him, another cutscene will play, marking the quest as complete and awarding you theViolet Hail (Spell)Transformation.
