Deepspace Trials don’t use Stamina and aren’t designed as a supply run. Instead, Deepspace Trials function as a testing ground for your Companion teams and overall battle prowess. So, if you think you have what it takes, read on about how to complete Deepspace Trials.

How To Complete Deepspace Trials
Deepspace Trials Orbits work like any other battle stage. Upon entering an Orbit, you will have a chance tochoose a Companion, outfits, weapons, and equip memories.
The rules of combat are thesameas in other battle modes. you’re able to choose to eitherbattle manuallyusing your Hunter Training skills orAuto-Fight.
Open Orbit
Open Orbit is an all-inclusive,24/7 challengemode where you canmix and matchone or multiple teams to complete Orbit stages and battles ofincreasing difficulty.
There are100 stages of Open Orbitto complete, andevery fifth stageis a boss stage with more difficult challenges and greater possible rewards.
You canearn Diamonds, Gold, Bottles of Wishes,Empyrean Wishes, anduniversal Cosmetic Itemsas rewards for clearing Orbit stages.
Unlike regular combat stages, you can usemore than one teamin Open Orbit.
Youdo not need Staminato enter Open Orbit.
Directional Orbits
Directional Orbits function similarly to Open Orbit, except they areonly open on certain daysof the week and havecombat team restrictionsto enter. And, unlike Open Orbit, youcannot challenge Directional Orbits infinitelywithin one day.
Each day, youreceive three keysto use in Directional Orbit, meaning you can only challenge Directional Orbits three times on the days that they are open.
Win or lose, youonly have three chancesto enter the stage, so plan your attempts wisely and prepare your teams ahead of time.
Each Directional Orbit can only be entered with that Orbit’sassigned Companion. For instance, you can only enterDirectional Orbit: Fire with Rafayel. This means that you can only use Rafayel’s weapons and memories when creating your combat team.
Just like in Open Orbit, you willearn rewards for completing Orbit levelsin Directional Orbit. However, the outfit rewards, Titles, and Cosmetics are allunique to that Companion’s Orbit.
For instance, if you want to earnZayne’s outfit set, Dark Elegance, you need to clearDirectional Orbit: Ice level 20.
Tips For Completing Deepspace Trials
There are a few great ways toensure successwhen challenging Deepspace Trials Orbits.
The first strategy is to make sure you’reprioritizing high-rarity and high-level memorieswhen you create your teams. Even just a single five-star memory can turn the tide of battle, as the stat boosts from a five-star memory are incredible.
Even if you havefully ranked your three-star memories, theywon’t compareto a mid-level four-star or low-level five-star memory.
When you pull your first five-star memories from events or the Xspace Echo pool, focus your resources on those memoriesbefore improving the lower-level ones. Try to aim for at least level 60.
The next tip is to make sure youaren’t neglecting Protocores. Each day, enter Core Huntand either challenge or Auto-Pursue the stages to get more Protocores.
Equipfully enhanced Protocoresto each one of your memories. The stat boosts are more than worth it and can bring even a low-level team up a few notches.
If you find that you’re struggling with battle mechanics, or you aren’t getting the hang of manual battling, there’s no shame inreturning to the basics. While you may think you don’t need it,replaying Hunter Trainingis a great way to practice your attack and dodge timing.
Dodging right before an attackis the best way to quickly regain attack energy and charge your special attacks, butgetting the timing just righttakes a whole lot of practice. Hunter Training is the best,low-resourceway topractice your battlingand get you to higher Orbits.
Finally, if practice isn’t for you, you can alwaysutilize the Auto-Fight toggleon the combat stage screen. With Auto-Fight, you cansit back and relaxwhile your carefully crafted team does all the heavy lifting for you.
Just remember, the only way toguarantee dodge boostsis to do themmanually! Auto-fight isnotflawless.
