Star Wars Outlawshas many ways for Kay to improve her arsenal tremendously, allowing her to upgrade her Trailblazer, Speeder, and Blaster with ease, so long as she has the requisite materials to do so. But there is also one other method to improve her Trailblazer, and that’s via The Hotfixer, an Expert who has many unique tricks up her sleeve.

If you want more firepower for your Trailblazer and more ways to improve Kay’s overall combat prowess, we suggest seeking out Teeka as soon as possible and completing her Expert Quest, as she offers some tremendous Abilities for Kay.

The Hotfixer Quest Walkthrough: Bestine Junkyard

As youbegin the ‘Jabba’s Favor’ Main Quest, ND-5 will ask Kay to find a turret for the Trailblazer,as it is currently grounded and may as well be upgraded. This will kick off the initial process forThe Hotfixer Expert Quest,allowing you tovisit the Ship Mechanic in the Mos Eisely Market.

TheShip Mechanic will point you in the direction of the Bestine Junkyard,as the Trailblazer is a stolen ship. Hop onto yourSpeeder and follow the waypoint until you arrive at the Junkyard.Once here, follow the waypoint further until youfind a hooded individualworking on their vehicle.

Speak with them to learn about the Jawa Scavengersand their whereabouts. With no other options left, she mustrely on them to install the turretson the Trailblazer.

Jawa Sandcrawler

Our next stop is theJawa Sandcrawler,which you will findfar south of the Junkyard.There’s achance you may have already stumbled upon this areadoing other sidequests. If you have, you cansimply Fast-Travel to itand speak with Teeka to continue the quest.If not, you better get driving!

Speak with Teeka,our Hotfixer, andagree to obtain a Sarlacc Toothfor them in trade for a turret. After some dialogue and a brief cutscene, you will be on your way to secure the item!

The Hotfixer Quest Walkthrough: Obtain A Sarlacc Tooth

Up next is toenter the Sarlacc Pitand retrieve a Tooth from its second mouth. So,hop on your Speederagain anddrive west through the desert,following the waypoint until youreach the enormous, dead Sarlacc.

There will befour guards posted near the entranceof the Sarlacc, but luckily for you,the distance you’ve been drivingon your Speeder has fully charged Kay’s Adrenaline Rushability. Before exiting your Speeder, take this opportunity touse your Adrenaline Rush to dispatch all of them.Easy peasy!

Find The Sarlacc Tooth

With the guards taken care of,slide down and into the first mouth of the Sarlacc.Once at the bottom,squeeze through the slight gap in the walland continue following the path until you reach a grapple point. Use yourgrappling hook to get to the other side of the roomand thencrouch through the small caveto continue moving forward.

Continue pushing onward until youreach two large bouldersblocking your progression. Use theHeavy Module on your Blaster to destroy themand follow the linear path forward. You will eventuallydrop into a dark room where the Sarlacc Tooth will be!

Find A Way Out Of The Sarlacc

Grab the Sarlacc Tooth andlook for a sizable rock you’re able to climb onnearby. After getting on top of this rock, you will be able toscale the wall,which will lead you to the next area. Once here,follow the pathway forward until you have to leap over a sizeable gapin the floor.

From here,follow the pathway until you reach another climbable wall.Scale it andfollow it until the next area,which hasyet another climbable wall.This will eventuallylead to an area with a grapple point.Use your grappling hook toclear the large gapand then push onward.

You will seelots of debris here,with a large ship that the beast has consumed.Run across the top of the destroyed ship and leap over the gapand onto the pathway that leads directly out of the cave.Follow the light out of the Sarlacc!

The Hotfixer Quest Walkthrough: Return To Teeka

Upon exiting the Sarlacc,a brief cutscene will play where a bandit ambushes Kay and steals the Sarlacc Toothfrom her. When she comes to, thebandit will be boarding their Speeder and will take offthrough the sand. Quicklyjump on your Speeder and begin chasing themdown.

YourAdrenaline Rush Gauge will build quickly here,so justfollow them until it fills up, activate it, and dispatch them.Dismount your Speeder andpick up the Sarlacc Tooth.There will beone more bandithere.Shoot them down with your Blasterbefore reboarding your Speeder.

There were only two bandits present for us. We’re unsure if there can be more if you take too long. Quickly using Adrenaline Rush on the bandit who stole the Sarlacc Tooth and then dismounting and eliminating the other one will stop them from pursuing!

Return To Teeka

Finally, with the Sarlacc Tooth back in your possession, you canhop back on your Speeder and follow the waypoint back to Teeka.Youcannot Fast-Travelback to the Jawa Sandcrawler, there alsowon’t be any threatshere, so just gun it to reach them faster.

Give Teeka the Sarlacc Toothwhen you arrive to trigger a cutscene that will complete the Expert Quest, giving the Trailblazer a new turret, further improving its offensive capabilities.You will also gain access to the rest of Teeka’s Abilities!
