Many people will need Zelda’s help inThe Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, and you’ll need to fight off powerful foes and solve complex puzzles to restore the rifts tearing Hyrule apart. With the help of your new friend, Tri, all of this is possible.
The Zora are a fascinating people that thrive in the water, though they are not exempt from the danger of the rifts. While the two groups of Zora don’t get along, you’ll have to make them see eye to eye if you want any chance of saving Jabul Waters from certain doom. We’ll guide you along every step of the way!
Where To Find The Jabul Waters Rift
When you arrive in Jabul Waters, you’ll meet many new and friendly faces. The Zora are an aquatic people who thrive in water, and they are divided into two groups:the river Zora clan and the sea Zora clan.
Tri will ask you to find a way to get closer to the Jabul Waters rift, which can befound north along the cliffs. Make your way to the east andfollow the waterfallsup to the waypoint.

To thewest of the waypointis the rift. Head inside Lord Jabu-Jabu’s Den. Unfortunately, you’re able to’t get very far, as you’ll need toget both Zora chiefsfrom the river clan and the sea clanto play music together.
Unfortunately, the chiefs aren’t getting along at the moment. You’ll have topatch things upto get into Lord Jabu-Jabu’s Den!
Where To Find The River Zora Village
Head west from Lord Jabu-Jabu’s den andfollow the trail upriverto find the River Zora Village. Chat with whomever you wish to learn more about the clan,learn new echoes, and purchase food, but your priority will be the chief’s home.
From the River Zora Village waypoint,continue northwest to the fallsbehind the item shop.Head inside the colorful houseto meet the River Zora chief, Dradd.
He plans tocalm Lord Jabu-Jabu with River Zora musicand will move right past you. His attendant, Inawa, will inform you that the chiefs are in the middle of a big fight. You’ll have togo speak with the Sea Zora chiefnext.
Where To Find The Sea Zora Village
TheSea Zora Village is hidden underwater, far to the southeast of Jabul Waters. Find the waypoint next to a giant fish tail statue andhead into the cave entrancebeneath it.
This entrance brings you to theheart of the Sea Zora village. Move through the village and make your way tothe northern door, where you’ll meet the Sea Zora chief, Kushara.
She also won’t pay you much attention, if any, as she wants tohurry to Crossflows Plazato calm Lord Jabu-Jabu. her attendant, Rogma, informs you thatuntil the squabble between the chiefs is resolved, you won’t be getting any help.
Progress for this quest is halted until you complete both theChaos At River Zora VillageandRampage At Zora Covequests.
The Crossflows Plaza Concert
Make your way to the Crossflows Plaza towitness a concertput on by the two chiefs. As Lord Jabu-Jabu appears to them and they play, the two start fighting. Lord Jabu-Jabuswallows both the chiefs' attendants, forcing them to follow in pursuit.
Make your way to the River Zora Village up north to find and help the clan close up a newly-opened rift. The begins theChaos At River Zora Village Quest, where Dradd has been swallowed by up the rift, so you’ll need to rescue him as well!
Tri’s friends are spread across five different places within the rifts.
Use your echoes to locate and free them!
After finding andfreeing all of Tri’s friends within the rift, Dradd will be freed and the two chiefs will start to see eye to eye. However, Kushara will return to the Sea Zora village.
On her way there, she gets trapped within a cave. You’ll need to make your way towards the Sea Zora Village and begin theRampage At Zora Cove quest.
Head into the secret entrancebelow the cave-in and make your way through to reach chief Kushara and the young Zora child trapped inside. Then,bind Tri to the rocks blocking the entranceto the cave and move them out of the way.
Entering Lord Jabu Jabu’s Den
After completing both quests for the Zora chiefs, they’ll agree tohelp you open Lord Jabu-Jabu’s Den. However, when you arrive at the den, there’s debris everywhere. You’ll need topick it all up and fix the broken pedestalby finding the pieces in the cavern.
Once everything is repaired, both chiefs will position themselves to play music and open the entrance to Lord Jabu-Jabu’s Den.
How To Defeat Jabu-Jabu
Once you enter Lord Jabu-Jabu’s Den, he will attack. You’ll want tostay afloat on the different crates, planks, and boatsand try to stay close so you canuse Zelda’s swordfighter formto deal damage.

Ignore the reinforcementsthat Lord Jabu-Jabu summons and focus on the bigger fish.Use Bombfish echoesto slay this massive leviathan and buy yourself entry into the Stilled Jabul Waters Rift.
How To Complete The Stilled Jabul Waters Rift
Once Lord Jabu-Jabu is thwarted, you canenter the riftbeyond. Here, you’ll have to navigate through theStilled Zora Temple Ruins. Using the newly learned water-block echo, you’re able to navigate through the rift and enter the ruins by crossing over Lord Jabu-Jabu (now frozen as a bridge).
Inside the ruins, you’ll need toactivate five different colored fountainsto create a waterspout large enough to reach the top of the ruins. After doing so andunlocking the big doorat the top, you’ll face off against Vocavor.
How To Defeat Vocavor
When you face Vocavor, you’ll need to beready to swim fast. Avoiding the water tornadoes Vocavor throws at you should be your priority when it comes to defense. Be sure that you’re able to attack at a moment’s notice, as the blue nodules on its back are vulnerable!

Continue to whittle away Vocavor’s health until the massive shrimp is defeated. Vocavor will dissolve into nothingness andfree all of Tri’s friends. This allows them to repair the rift, and you’ll berewarded with might crystals and a full heartfor Zelda.
After acelebratory concert with the Zora, you’ll be well on your way to the next rift plaguing the world!
