Throne and Libertyoffers many Dynamic Events. These typically offer fantastic rewards and substantial EXP, making them perfect for seeking out and fitting into your long sessions. Whether you’re doing them to fill out your Region Exploration checklist or to compete against hundreds of other players, we cannot recommend doing them enough.
And, as you likely know as you visited this guide, the Lantern Seed Festival is one such Dynamic Event and offers many excellent rewards for newcomers looking to get ahead of the curb. Whether via upgrade materials or EXP, you won’t be short on both when tackling this one!
How To Start Seeds Popping In Throne And Liberty
Activating theNesting Groundswaypoint will grant you access to the region’s side quests, with ‘Seeds Popping’ being one of them, having youpartake in the Lantern Seed Festival Dynamic Eventto complete it. From here, you canmark the quest as a Favorite and even track its locationon your map, but youcannot advance it until a specific time.
To progress this quest, you mustcatch the Dynamic Event when it begins and see it to its endwhile participating. This entailsdefeating enemies in a marked area, gathering Lantern Seeds, and delivering them to Delivery Boxes,which isn’t all that bad considering how many enemies are in this region.
How To Check When The Lantern Seed Festival Begins
If you want tocheck when the Dynamic Event begins,open yourmapin theNesting Groundsregion, select theEvent Schedule tabon the left, and look for theblue icon that looks like a flower.This will display what time the Event is scheduled for. You can alsocheck the current time by looking at the clock at the top of the listof events.
Now, you just have towait until the Event goes live,whichcan be anywhere from a few minutes to several hours,depending on how lucky you are. Once it’snearing the time the Lantern Seed Festival begins,head to thedesignated areaon your map andwait there until it starts!

How To Complete Seeds Popping In Throne And Liberty
Like most Dynamic Event quests in Throne and Liberty, there will bethree steps you must complete during the Lantern Seed Festivalto complete theSeeds Poppingquest.Failing to complete these steps means you must wait until the Event comes backaround so you can finish the ones you’ve missed.
You should bearound Level 20-23when attempting this quest, as the enemies in the region will be around the same. This is anexcellent quest to seek out and complete early on,as it rewardssolid EXP gains and upgrade materialsthat can go a long way at the start of your long journey!
Possess 50 Lantern Seeds
Thefirst objectiveyou should focus on during the Lantern Seed Festival is toobtain 50 Lantern Seeds.Lantern Seeds can beacquired a few waysearly on, but you will get the majority of them from defeating enemies in the marked area.
Keep an eye out forTradepack Goblins,as they willdrop TONS of Lantern Seeds as you attack them and will drop a substantial amount when defeated.From here, focus onHeadcrusher Terror Birds and other enemiesin the region, as they willdrop a decent amountas well when defeated.
There will also becarts you can search in the area that will also reward Lantern Seeds.Still, westrongly recommend just hunting the enemies,as you can defeat them at a substantially faster rate than it takes to track down a cart, loot it, and hope another player doesn’t get to it before you do.
During the first phase of this Event, the Watson Brothers can be found roaming around the area, allowing you to give them your Lantern Seeds in exchange for Receipts. Do not do this until you have at least 50 Lantern Seeds collected to complete the first step of the Seeds Popping quest!
Deliver Lantern Seeds To The Delivery Box
With roughly15 minutes remainingfor the Lantern Seed Festival, theDelivery Boxes will be opened,allowing you tooffload your collected Lantern Seeds.After gathering50 Lantern Seeds or more,head to one of the severalDelivery Boxes marked in the area and drop them off.And, like that, this step of the quest is completed.
From here, you cancontinue gathering Lantern Seedsfrom eliminated enemies andcashing them in to raise your Personal Performance Scoreand getbetter rewardswhen the Lantern Seed Festival Dynamic Event ends, or you can just wait until the Event ends, which will be a while.
Obtain A Performance Reward
Speaking of Personal Performance Score, thefinal objectiveof the Seeds Popping quest is toAcquire a Performance Reward,whichessentially means finishing the Lantern Seed Festival.So, if you wanted to leave early, that’s a no-go, as you mustparticipate in the Event for the full 20 Minutesif you want to complete this quest.
Again,gathering more and more Lantern Seeds and dropping them off at the Delivery Crates will increase your Tier,giving youbetter rewardswhen the Event comes to a close. You canchoose to go hard and gun for the top or can just mosey around until it’s overto complete the final step!
How many Lantern Seeds you turn in will not impact the rewards obtained for completing the Seeds Popping quest. It will only affect the rewards received for the Lantern Seed Festival Dynamic Event, as there are several different Tiers that reward different rewards based on how many Lantern Seeds you deliver!

The Performance Reward will vary depending on how well you did during the Lantern Seed Festival Dynamic Event, netting more or less than what is displayed above!
