Do I Need The Paranormal Stuff Pack To Complete The Event?

Week one’s quests have already caused concerns since one of the chains requires you to’Ask the spirits about Ambrosia’which you can only do if you have Paranormal Stuff and canpurchase the Seance table.

There isclarification about this on EA’s websiteunderThe Sims 4 Event Help.

Some Quests are Pack-specific, so you’ll only see these if you have the Pack installed… Packs may help you earn Event Points faster because you’ll have additional objectives to complete, but they’re not required to take part in the Event.

EA Help

In week one, we couldclaim up to and including, the Scare Seeker Lot Challengewithout doing the Paranormal quest. Once we completed that final quest, we were also able to claim the Happy Potion.

EAs forums state thatpacks are not essential, and will just help you gain rewards quicker.AnFAQ on EA’s websitealso suggests you mayhave Event Points left overif you complete every single objective.

Given this week’s experience, combined with the official answers,it seems likely that you’ll be able to claim all the main rewards listed each week, but the extras, including the Freezer Bunny Collectibles, may be at the crossover point. Thus, the pack simply allows you toclaim a couple of consumable items slightly earlier mid-event.
