How To Beat Animatronic Captain Hook

Upon reaching the Jolly Roger, you’ll immediately get theFree the Sprite task, which iscollateral to the Restore Pete Panquest. TheAnimatronic Captain Hook boss fight will beginas soon as you board the ship. There are three ways to deal with him.

The intended way is tolet Pete Pan handle the fight, so you’ll need tofree the Sprite first. This entailsnavigating the ship’s rigging and mastsuntil you reach the top, where she is caged.

Alternatively, you canface Hook on the ship’s deck. While hehides in barrels and throws bombsand Thinner at you, you canflush out his painted shellandhit him with a spinning attack. This will cause Hook tospin along the trackson the deck.

Here’s where things get interesting. You canuse the gear mechanism to align the tracks to the plankandthrow Hook overboard, or let himcrash enough times into the ground or ship wallsby leaving the tracks disconnected. Either way, these methods also complete the boss fight.

If you go with either of these two combat options, you’ll need tofree the Sprite after defeating Hookto be able to finish the Restore Pete Pan quest.
