While you might’ve been successful in stopping Solas’s ritual in its tracks, that plan has only backfired. Some of the Evanuris are once more upon the physical world inDragon Age: The Veilguardand you’ll have already caught a glimpse of their corruptive power in D’Meta’s Crossing.

To stand a chance, you’ll need to gather some serious power of your own, starting with finding the Lyrium Dagger — Solas’s tool to perform the ritual. While lost in the chaos, you’ll return to the Ritual Site in “The Singing Blade” quest to search for it, hoping to get it before the gods do.

How To Get The Lyrium Dagger

Afterreporting your findings inShadows Crossingto Strife and Irelin, the Singing Blade quest will begin shortly after, and you’llfind yourself in the Ritual Site once moretorecover Solas’s dagger. First, you’ll have tospeak to Harding, who’sstill caught up in her indecisiveness during the Solas mess. Here, you’ll havethree dialogue options, butconsider going with “We all carry blame”, as you’ll earn approval from both Harding and Neve.

The other choices have no effect, but feel free to go with your preferred response if you’re not aiming at romancing either.

How To Beat The Lyrium Ghoul

After all that chasing, theLyrium Ghoul isn’t much of a threat— it’s as weak as you’d expect. Theboss attacks frenetically, inflicts necrosis in a red cone-shaped area, and candeal some damage with its clawsif it lands a hit. Unlike some other enemies in the Singing Blade quest, theLyrium Ghoul has no unavoidable moves, so you canfreely blockand weave around its attacks and take it down quickly.

After defeating it, a cutscene will trigger whereyou’ll finally claim the Lyrium Dagger for a brief moment, along withHarding acquiring some strange powers. However, things aren’t over quite yet, asa swarm of Darkspawn will emerge from Blight pools, andonce they’re defeated, theLyrium Ghoul will return once more, nowshielded by a barrierand more aggressive.
