The Verdant Restoration quest is an early-game puzzle inNew World: Aeternumwhere you need to correctly rotate the stones at the shrine to complete the quest. The quest is handed out by Nessa Harrow in Windsward when you reach around level 16. It’s a main story quest that needs to be completed to continue leveling.
You need to follow the quest marker to the Mirador Shrine to the west of Windsward. Climb up through the ruins, and you’ll reach the area where you need to adjust the stones to solve the puzzle. The solution is actually pretty straightforward, and the puzze solution can be found on the wall in the temple.
Verdant Restoration Solution
Once you’ve climbed the temple - not easy in itself, but the path is pretty clear with New World’s new climbing mechanics which means you can easily scale the rock-like steps - then you’ll reach the main shrine room.
The puzzle solution is located on the wall behind the shrine. You will need to rotate the stones to show anX, a P, and a Trident shape.
Other players can rotate the stones, which means this quest can be a little frustrating if other people are crowding the area. Try and communicate with the other players in the area via in-game chat.
Once you’ve rotated the stones to form the correct pattern, in order, you’ll be able to complete the quest and collect your reward.
