How To Unlock The Pickaxe
To obtain the Pickaxe, you need toreach Friendship Level 11withMy Melodyand unlockthe Revive the Oasis Story quest.
Level Up My Melody’s Friendship
To level up your friendship with My Melody, you’ll want togive her three gifts daily.This process may take some time, but there are efficient ways to speed it up.
Avoid changing your device’s date and time to try and time travel to be able to give more gifts each day, as it can cause a glitch with this quest, preventing it from unlocking properly.
One of the most effective methods is byunlocking the espresso machinebyHangyodonafter you’ve acquired the diver skill. With the espresso machine,you can make a Pink Latteusing strawberries, which, when gifted, significantly boosts your friendship with My Melody. Alternatively, you can simply gift My Melodystrawberriesobtained fromPocacco.
If Hello Kitty is following you while you craft the Pink Latte, you’ll have the random chance to create extra.
Start The Revive The Oasis Story Quest
Once you’ve reached Friendship Level 11 with My Melody, you willunlock the story questtitledRevive the Oasis. This quest is the key to obtaining the Pickaxe. To do so, head toGemstone Town,where the quest will guide you through the necessary steps. Upon starting the quest, you’ll receive the Pickaxe plans.
Craft The Pickaxe
With the plans in hand, the next step is tocraft the materialsneeded to craft the Pickaxe:ten Woodblocksandthree Ingots.

Once you’ve gathered enough wood and iron, you cancraft the Pickaxe at the crafting tableby Chococat’s tent.
What Can You Use A Pickaxe For?
It might seem counterintuitive, but the Pickaxeisn’t used for mining oreorgathering crystals. Instead, it’s needed tocomplete certain queststhat requirebreaking bouldersand rocks to access specific areas. However, this may change with future updates.
