Buddha’s Right Hand Attacks
Buddha’s Right Hand boss battle features two phases. The first phase is just the hand, and after you’ve taken out half of its HP, the boss willreveal its full form as it transitions into its second phase. The moveset of the bossdrastically changesin phase two, and the lack of space in the area only makes the fight more difficult to deal with.
Phase One
Buddha’s Finger Flick
Just as you enter the boss battle, Buddha’s Right Hand will usuallythrow out this attack where it throws a small orb of lightin the Destined One’s direction using a finger flick.
You have to dodge this attack exactly when youhear the finger flick’s sound.
Buddha’s Palm
Buddha’s Right Hand will turn itself into a first. As the Destined One approaches, the boss will turnitself into a palm that knocks you backwhile dealing a considerable amount of damage.
The best way to avoid this attack is tokeep yourself at a distance. The attack has a fairly short range, and unless you’re trying to attack the boss, you will be able to avoid it easily.
Slithering Hand
The boss throws out the hand in the Destined One’s direction, smacking him against the wall. The hand then slithers forward like a snake for a follow-up attack.
When you notice the hand slithering to one side of the wall, dodge to your back repeatedlyto get out of this attack’s range. If you successfully dodge the first hit, be wary of the straight follow-up, as it has a lot of range and can catch you if you sprint away.Dodge to your sides to avoid the follow-up attack. If you get hit by the first attack and get knocked down, you will likely automatically avoid the follow-up attack.
Dragging Quake
The boss willdrag the hand across the corridor. The boss may then slam it repeatedly in the middle of it,causing rocks to fall to the ground, dealing damage to the Destined One if it is hit by the falling rocks.
The first attack is fairly easy to avoid as you have to dodge exactly when thehand is approaching you. When it starts slamming the hand on the ground, get away from it. If you’re caught by the hand or by the falling rocks during this, it will deal you considerable damage, so the best you can do here is toget as far away as possiblefrom it and keep moving.
Corridor Slam
Buddha’s Right Hand willstrike one of the walls, causing rocks to fall near it.
You can avoid thisattack by dodgingas you see the hand coming towards the wall. Here, you have two options. You can continue to attack the hand to deal some damage to the boss while tanking the damage of the falling rocks, or get away from it to avoid all damage.
Phase Two
Poison Breath
Just as the boss transitions into phase two, it will reveal itshorrific true form of an insect. Buddha’s Right Hand will immediately unleash a poison breath that will cover the ground, slowing you down and damaging you, while also stacking the Poison Bane.
To avoid this attack, you will have torun to the other side of the bossfrom under it. There’s no better way to avoid it. If you run quickly enough, you can attack the boss a few timeswhile it’s spewing poison. The poison stays on the ground for a while, so try toavoid stepping on it.
Quaking Screech
The boss willunleash a roar, causing rocks to fall from all over the narrow passageway.
The falling rocks are fairly difficult to avoid but don’t deal as much damage. You can try to distance yourself from the boss, but the better way to avoid it is towatch for the rocks or keep dodging.
Bug Bite
Buddha’s Right Hand willreel its head back and then smash its head on the ground.
This attack has a very short range. So if youdodge to your back repeatedly, you may avoid this attack.
Head Dash
The boss will drag its claws on the ground and willmove to one end of the narrow passageway. It will then rush to the other end while dragging its claws on the ground.
When you see Buddha’s Right Hand coming your way while dragging its fangs on the ground, dodge to your side.
Leg Stomps
Buddha’s Right Hand willstomp the ground with its right legs and then with its left legs.
Keep your distance anddodge to your backto avoid this attack.

You canavoid this attack by dodgingjust as the hand is about to hit you.
Poison Butterflies
The boss willspew poison butterfliesthat attack the Destined One after a short delay. The butterflies may attack you up tothree timesand willstack Poison Baneif you get hit by them.
It is a projectile attack, so you can deflect it byusing Spinning Staff. You can also avoid this attack by dodging when the butterflies are about to hit you.
