Now that you’re about two thirds of the way through the Antenora door in the Abyss of Time inPersona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis -The Answer-, you’re facing your second and final boss fight of this door before hitting the bottom of the area.
Two Shadows await you in this Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis boss fight, Death Castle and Avenger Knight. The pair don’t have any weaknesses you’re able to exploit, but rather a few elements they either drain or nullify, so careful team consideration and equipping Aigis with the right Personas is imperative for this Episode Aigis boss fight.
Death Castle And Avenger Knight Affinities
The trickiest part of this Persona 3 Reload boss fight is that you’re up againsttwo strong Shadows that have no weaknesses, which means there’s no straightforward way to down them both and trigger an all-out attack. You’ll need to rely ongood magic and brute strengthto win this fight.
For the fight against Death Castle and Avenger Knight,we recommend the following team configuration:
The only magic damage that can hit both Shadows without using a break skill isWind damage, so if you’re not using Yukari in this fight, be sure togive Aigis a Personathat knows a multi-target Wind magic skill.
Affinities and Weaknesses
-
Vile Assault
Heavy Slash damage to one foe.
Unless you have your heart set on using a single-target move that deals Fire, Ice, or Electric damage, it’s best not to use those kinds of magic at all - better safe than sorry.
How To Defeat Death Castle And Avenger Knight
Since there aren’t any outright weaknesses you’re able to exploit on this battlefield, you’ll need to rely onstrong magic and physical damageto handle the battle against Death Castle and Avenger Knight. The trick, though, is thatFire, Ice, and Electric magic have limited uses, since one drains Fire and Ice, while the other drains Electric. Always best not to heal the enemy!
Additionally, since theynullify Light and Dark, avoid these attacks at all costs to save your SP. The only one who needs to use much SP during this battle is Yukari, who can usemulti-target Wind magicto hit both Shadows at once when she’s not healing everyone else who’s beenusing multi-target physical attacksto deal maximum damage to both Shadows that way.
Avoid having Yukari use her bow during this fight unless it’s during her Theurgy - Avenger Knight repels Pierce damage, and she doesn’t deal very strong physical damage anyway.
Because of this, it’s wise toarrive with your Theurgy gauges chargedtomake the most of each teammate’s powerful abilities.Putting Metis into Orgia Modeis helpful for this fight, since Strike and Slash damage both hit these Shadows normally.
Both Shadows have pretty big HP pools, but once one goes down, switch to single-target moves to save on HP, unless your multi-target moves deal more damage and your teammate has enough HP to survive the attack.
