As the informant explains,Kokamordos will try and debuff your team and is weak to Ice, so aside from your usual party strategy prep, you may want to purchase some additional items on top of the usual range of healing consumables.

You should get some Revival Medicine/Balm of Life as Kokamordos can one-hit kill under the right (or rather, wrong) circumstances.

Using one of the portals in Manor Of The Ascendant in Metaphor ReFantazio.

You can also buy some items that deal Ice damage from the Gloamhall in Grand Trad if you feel you might need some extra help.

There’s a lot of leeway for party composition here, so feel free to use whatever you deem best. We’ve just broken down which setup we used and why.

Prince/Seeker Lineage/Healer Lineage

Back

The Protagonist should be healing your party, and so really any Archetype would work providing you use the right inherited skills, such asDekunda to remove debuffs. We alsorecommend ensuring you have Medica inherited from Healerto keep your party healed.

Knight Lineage

Front

Someone from the Knight lineage (likely Hulkenberg) will great to act as a tank as well as providingPierce damage, which the Kokamordos is weak to. Additionally, you’ll then getMarakukaja too to buff your team’s defences.

Mage Lineage

Having an Archetype from theMage lineage will allow you to use Ice-based moves, but additionally, if your Protagonist is set as Prince, it’llunlock the Hadean Icecrag Synthesis Skill, which deals extreme Ice damage.

Any Damage Dealer Archetype

Choose whoever your strongest Damage Dealer is to fill this slot, taking into account the Kokamordos' weaknesses and attacks.

If you have any Ice-affinity weapons, equip those and you can also change up inherited skills for your team to include Ice-based moves.

Battle Strategy

On your first turn, be sure toshore up your team’s defences with Marakukaja straight away, then start hitting the Ice and Pierce weaknesses as much as you can.

Kokamordos will use a mixture of Fire and Dark moves, and will also useattacks that lower your party members' attack and defence, so be prepared to heal them anduse Dekunda to remove any debuffsit casts on you.

Kokamordos will target allies without the effect of Rakukaja and use Peck of Death, so try and ensure you keep using Marakukaja to keep it applied at all times.

Thebattle should be fairly straightforward as long as you keep on top of Marakukaja and keep your party healed(with debuffs removed). Make the most of your Synthesis Skills to deal some hefty Ice and Pierce damage and before you know it, the Kokamordos will be toast.
