Lanayru Temple Green Goo Fight Overview

You will encounter the Green Goo during thenatural midpoint of Lanayru Temple, and you’ll need to defeat it in order to progress. So buckle up and get ready to fight back. The boss will begin byhopping out of a heated spring at the back of the arena, which should be your initial clue about how to take him down.

The Green Goo has a variety of attacks, most of which are relatively easy to avoid.He jumps into the air constantly, going out of sight before his shadow appears on the ground. Move out of the way to avoid this, and be wary of the deluge of rocks that accompany him.Its final and most deadly attack is a stream of scorching hot waterfrom its mouth that can kill any echoes and deal decent damage to Zelda.

How To Defeat The Lanayru Temple Green Goo

As Zelda enters the arena and the door locks behind her,Green Goo will immediately jump into the air and prepare for its first attack. Counter this by avoiding his shadow and bringing out aFreezard echo.

Zelda’s swordfighter formis once again the most effective means of dealing damage in this fight, or echoes with a wide reach that can hit multiple targets at once.

Green Goo thrives on heat, and you will need tokeep on freezing it to deal damage before it splits into smaller and more numerous copies of itself. You will only have a few seconds until the freezing condition subsides, so try to deal as much damage as quickly as possible.

Now you will havetwo goos to deal with, and then four, and then a total of six. The final two are much smaller and take fewer attacks to dispatch, but that means freezing them is also a nuisance. Try tohave two Freezardor similar ice elemental summons present at all times.

Your only road to victory is tokeep on wiping out the myriad goo creatures, which can be a bit difficult when so many of them occupy the battlefield at once.
