The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom’s final act is a dramatic rush of dungeons, bosses, and huge plot revelations that will leave you reeling. Just before Zelda heads to the Eternal Forest to find the Deku Tree, Null appears to steal her Prime Energy and creates an echo of the Princess to use against her. Now, you will need to step up to the plate and defeat them.
During this penultimate battle, you will do battle with a neverending army of echoes, dodge an onslaught of attacks, and bring down Zelda’s echo as it flies through the air and slams onto the ground. It’s an aggressive test of endurance, but one that’s easy enough to beat.
Zelda Echo Fight Overview
You’ll notice that this manifestation of Zelda is evil because of the glowing red eyes and the harsh purple glow emanating from her body. She is trying to break into Null’s body located beneath the Deku Tree to gather the Triforce’s energy and destroy Hyrule forever.
After working your way through the game’s final rift, you will stumble across a vast platform made up of various biomes from across Hyrule, with Zelda’s echo standing at the end ready to scrap. Head over there to initiate a brief exchange of dialogue before the battle begins.
While Zelda Echo’s attacks are predictable, that doesn’t mean they don’t hit hard. Try to bring a selection of smoothies with high healing levels in case you need to neck them to stay alive.
You will have to deal with a number of different attack patterns throughout the encounter, but most of them are easy to counter and relatively predictable.Zelda’s echo is going to attempt to overwhelm you with numbers rather than strategy, as they spawn a constant horde of dark echoes which will grow in complexity as the battle goes on.
They will also spend most of their time in the air, darting about the place and briefly morphing into a floating black orb to avoid direct attacks and navigate the arena with immense speed.
How To Defeat Zelda Echo
Zelda Echo will start the battle by rushing towards you in her black spherical form. This is a fakeout, however, as they will quickly move to the left and begin summoning their first round of echoes.Counter them by summoning an echo of your own.
The best choice for this battle is theLevel 3 Darknut. Not only is it massive,it has a deadly spinning attack and executes its moves the second you summon it. That means you may essentially spam its presence continuously to take out anything the boss throws at you.
While your echo is dealing with the ongoing flow of enemies, switch to Zelda’s swordfighter form and use her bow to damage her evil clonewhile they zip about the sky. verify you are locking on using the ‘L’ button as well, otherwise most of your shots will end up missing.
If you want to deal more damage to Zelda Echo in a shorter amount of time, summon a Wizzrobe to go alongside your bow attacks, and you will ground them in no time.
Zelda Echo will eventually be grounded and open to an onslaught of attacks. Use this as an opportunity to wail on them before they return to the sky and begin unleashing even more of their superpowered echoes. They will occasionally turn into a black sphere to fly about, but it doesn’t mean any harm.
Repeat the pattern of the previous chase —and remember to keep a Darknut summoned— and Zelda Echo will once again fall to the ground.
For their final round, they will take on a much darker colour and send out echoes thick and fast. Too many for Zelda to take down, which means your primary goal now is to bring this fight to a close.
The third phase is a matter of prioritising fast reflexes and frequent summoning of the right echoes. You can also use them to draw aggro away from Zelda, which is essential as you’ll be trying to target the boss with your bow as it moves about the arena.
Keep this up, and you will soon emerge victorious.Zelda Echo will then flee into the rift with the Prime Energy in tow, leaving you with an opportunity to save Link from imprisonment.
Rewards For Defeating Zelda Echo
Nothing!Well, nothing material to speak of. But you do save Link, and will have him by your side for the rest of the game as you head towards the final boss.
In order to free him, equip Zelda’s swordfighter form and fire a bow at the crystal containing the twink. He will do the rest of the work.
Before heading into the next area, you will need to surrender all weapons to Linkand make use of Zelda’s echo powers for the remainder of the story. It’s a point of no return for all open-world exploration and side quests.
