New World: Aeternum’sterritory standing system has a lot of benefits built into its progress track. From level one, you’re able to purchase your first house in a city of your choosing. As you earn more territory reputation, you’ll unlock further rewards, like crafting tax reduction, increased storage space per city, and gathering buffs.
Territory reputation can be earned in a variety of ways, from completing quests, defeating enemies, and clearing corruption portals around the region. This guide covers every method to earn territory rep and the fastest way to level up your standing.
How To Quickly Earn Territory Reputation In New World: Aeternum
Simply completing quests and discovering new landmarks will earn you your first few levels in each region.
However, if you want to quickly level a region - usually to hit at least level 30 so you can buy a larger house, which means more storage and trophy space - there are some methods that speed up the process.
Musical Boosts
Before grinding out any territory standing, you may use theTerritorial Triumphboost from playing music to greatly increase the rate at which you earn territory reputation. The tier of the buff depends on the music sheet learned and your music trade skill.
If you want to improve how quickly your earn territory standing even more, you’re able to craft/purchase satchels with the Town Loyalty perk on them to increase standing growth rate by 15%.
Cooking!
Cooking is the fastest way to level up your territory standing in New World: Aeternum, although you will need some gold to get started.
CookingTravel Rationswith low-tier meat, likeRed Meat,is the most cost-effective way to quickly level territory standing. Set up some buy orders on the auction house, and you can start accruing a bunch of meat, which can be cooked to earn both cooking experience and a huge boost to territory standing.
Questing, Exploration, Mobs
Completing quests, discovering landmarks, and defeating mobs all reward territory standing. Make sure to get your mount as soon as possible, here’s a guide for that, and start to explore the map. Gather as you go, take your time - the world of Aeternum is a great part of the game, and exploration shouldn’t be rushed.
What Upgrades Should You Pick For Territory Reputation?
You can choose from these upgrades while earning territory standing:
At level ten,you want to grab the house purchase unlock- this is the only available upgrade, actually - and after that you can start to customize your choices based on your plans for each region.
For example, it’s a good idea to purchase a house in one of the central towns, such as in Everfall and Windsward. As a result, youmight want to upgrade your property tax and house items options in these regions.
If, instead, you have an idea of an area you want to farm for resources - perhaps you want to harvest a lot of rawhide in Windsward -then you’ll want to improve gathering rates.
Regardless of what you want to do in each region, it’salwaysa good idea to improve your storage when it appears on the upgrade track. This is a long-term solution to one of the biggest endgame problems in New World, especially if you’re a prolific gatherer and crafter. More storage is always good.
Out of all the choices, character experience gain is the least important. We’d actuallyrecommend not taking this at allas once you’ve hit level 65 (which doesn’t take too long), you can no longer make use of this upgrade.
