As the name suggests, Dragon Balls are a key part ofDragon Ball: Sparking Zeroas collecting all seven of them will let you get a variety of wishes granted from Shenron, Porunga, or Super Shenron.

That’s a lot easier said than done, though. If you want to be able to wish for Zeni, titles, characters, ability items, or Dragon Orbs, then you’re going to need to gather the Dragon Balls. Considering how rare they can be, that can be a tough ask.

This guide only applies to Shenron and Porunga, as Super Shenron’s Dragon Balls don’t seem to be unlockable through versus battles.

How To Easily Farm Dragon Balls In Sparking Zero

Once you’ve found some of the early ways to get Dragon Balls in Sparking Zero from Zen-Oh, Whis, and some of the Episode Battles, the only remaining way to get Dragon Balls is by playing versus battles online or offline. As we detailed in our Shenron Summoning Guide, thedrop rate for Dragon Balls is completely randomand doesn’t seem to happen all that much.

That being said, there is an easy way to farm Dragon Balls in Sparking Zero and itinvolves customising your match settings to make them run down as quickly as possible. Before that, though, you’ll need to get the Rising Fighting Spirit capsule from the Shopand equip it with whatever character you’re going to use. This capsule instantly maxes out your Ki as a fight begins, which lets you throw out a super straight away.

Latent Power Unleashed also works since it gives you two extra Ki gauges at the start of a match.

Now you’ve got this equipped, go into an offline versus battle and customise the settings by pressing L1 for PlayStation or LB for Xbox. You’re going to want topick the World Tournament map and turn the out-of-bounds option onwhile making the character you’re fighting as weak as possible. Then choose that map and go up against Mr Satan or any other non-flying character.

As soon as the match starts, fire off a blast super and, as long as it connects, it’ll knock the opponent out of bounds straight away, giving you the fastest possible end to a match.Repeat this method as many times as you like until you’ve got the Dragon Balls that you need. It’s worth noting that this will still take some grinding to do, but it’s the fastest way to get through these battles.
