It seems like the city of Treviso isn’t doing so well inDragon Age: The Veilguard. Not only is it dealing with the ever-common class disparities, but it’s gotten even worse thanks to the Qunari military, known as the Antaam, forcibly occupying the city and taking control of things.

The Antivan Crows are committed to fighting back against the Antaam and pushing them out of their city, but it’s not something they can do in a single day. It will take time, careful planning, and a united front to free Treviso from the Antaam. The first thing you’ll need to do is start taking down those surrounding The Butcher.

How To Find Dareth

A Slow Poisonbecomes available afteryou rescue Lucanis during thestory quest, Sea of Blood, and you interact with therolled scroll with a quest markerabove it inside theLibrary section of the Lighthouse.

Killing some groups of Antaam in Treviso increases your bond with Lucanis, so make sure to bring him and take them all out if you’re planning to romance him.

Use the Crossroads orFast Travel back to Treviso, then head inside andspeak to Teia and Viago, and they’ll tell you your target is going to behelping their scout, Dareth, in the Drowned District.

During the conversation, you can alsoget some additional informationregarding the Butcher’s actions, the Gods, the Crows, and the occupation itself.

Exit the Crow’s headquartersvia the stairs to the merchant’s rightafter talking to them, then follow the path towards the objective andacross the ziplineto another area.

There’s azipline you can activate on the left side of the pathwaythat leads to an area with a battle against three Venatori, and a Blight Cyst containing Desmal, Bloodbound to Elgar’nan, who you’ll need to beat for theGate Of Deep Sorrows quest.

Once you’re on the other side, sneak along theledge above the statuepreviously blocked by people, grab thechest inside the locked room, and then head through thewooden gate with the Crow’s symbolto the right.

On this second trip, you’llnow be able to explore more, and if you take theeastern path past the Grande Market beacon, you’ll get access totwo paths: one goingnorth to Heart and Central, and one continuing to theeast towards the Drowned District.

Heart and Central’s area contains a variety of loot, such as chests, two of which contain Unique items as a special reward, a handful of fights against Antaam, and a Fen’Harel Altar in the Dellamorte Estates area.

How To Find Dareth’s Contact

Activate the Drowned District’s first beacon once you get to the area, thengo down across the docksto where Dareth is. As youapproach the large building on the right, you’ll havethree Antaam to fight: two wielding cannons, and one with a sword and shield.

Take them out, thenfree Jacobusand Fast Travel back to theGrande Market beaconandhead eastthrough the wooden gates, thennorth across the bridge, or go to theHeart and Central beacon directlyif you’ve found it already.

At Heart and Central beacon,climb the nearby lattice walland follow the purple Crow marks on the wallsup to the rooftop building, then interact with thenote on the desk.

Eitheruse the ziplinesnearby or Fast Travel back to theCrow’s Road Rooftops beacon, then go through thedoor to your left. Take out the Antaam, then keep following thepath across the rooftopsto the Garrison.

You’ll have somemore regular Antaamto dealwith as you make your way through the building, and you’llhave a bossto deal with once you hop over the balcony andreach the first floor.

How To Beat The Qamekmaster

While large, theQamekmaster isn’t armored, so you’llonly need to deplete his healthto kill him.

He’sresistant to Lightning, butvulnerable to Necrotic, and hasseveral attacksat his disposal that he alternates between, alongsideoccasionally spawning a pool of acid that lingerson the ground:

You can alsohit him with your Ultimate for massive damage on any classif you have it, and cut the fight time down significantly.

Combo together companion skillssuch asLucanis' Debilitate and Bellara’s Fade Boltsto detonate status effects and cause a chain reaction while avoiding his attacks, and you’llkill the blighted Qamekmasterfairly quickly.

How To Complete A Slow Poison

Once he’s dead,destroy the three pots of poisonin the room andread the note on the desk, then grab the chest from the nearby room before returning toTeia and Viago at the Crow’s Sanctum.

When Teiamentions your rewardduring the conversation, answering that youwon’t abandon your alliesgives you anincrease in your bond with Lucanis.

For completing this quest, you’ll get some EXP,250 reputation with the Antivan Crows, and anincrease in the bondsof whichevertwo Companions you bringwith you.
