There are all sorts of things you can find inUnknown 9: Awakening. Artifacts from the Sahin, letters left behind by people like Dr. Matos or even random Ascendants, or diagrams of Ascendant technology. All of them can help to give you further insight into the world and some of the backstory for characters central to Haroona’s story.
Each Ascension Card you find and read gives abstract words of encouragement, promises of ways you can improve yourself, perhaps, even a way to ascend to a better, higher state of being. It sounds too good to be true, and considering how the Ascendants work, maybe it is.
All Ascension Card Locations
There are atotal of ten Ascension Cardsfor you to find throughout the game, and they appear asmedium-sized cardswith asmall black or red symbolon them.
You canfind collectibles easier by investing in the Umbric Resonance upgradefor the Peek skill, as it highlights any nearby collectibleswhen you use Peek.
You canfind one in almost every chapterof the game, and, likethe LettersandDiagrams, you’ll generallyfind them on tables and desks in Ascendant Camps.

Richat Structure
Once you learn about Tuning, pass through the crack in the wall with Reika and drop into the next Ascendant camp. Sneak into the nearest tent on the left, and the Ascension Card is sitting on a table with a scale.
Define Allies & Enemies
Chamiri
Jump across onto the flowering vines from the balcony, then climb up and go forward up the stairs. Break the crates and boxes across from you, and the Ascension Card is on a table by the stone railing.
Force A Fight And Fail
Suknasari Forest
After following Luther through the scaffolding, go past the camp and turn around, then go onto the bridge behind you. The Ascension Card is on a set of crates halfway across it, near a hanging lamp.
Burn Down Your Temple
Chamatkari Mandir
In the Ascendant camp with poison canisters, after splitting up with Azad, go towards the flowering vines on the right side. The Ascension Card is on the table between them and the nearby generator.

The Morning Star II
Once you’re back on the Morning Star, watch the cutscene and then follow Buchra into Vincent’s office. Go over to his desk, and the Ascension Card is on the back side of it, near an open book.
Dive Deeper
Quinta Matos
Clear out all the Ascendants in the courtyard after Matos has left, then go into the greenhouse with Luther. The Ascension Card is on the desk at the bottom of the stairs near an open book.
Become An Instrument Of Purpose
After beating the Phantom on the second floor and going through the secret bookshelf door, climb up the elevator shaft and go down into the lab area. The Ascension Card is at the back of the room on the small circular table next to the couch.
Forge Your Path
Dasuden
After moving the platform with the crane, navigate through the building as you kill Ascendants until you reach the second-floor room with two Rushers and an armored Bruiser. Kill them, then go to the table in the corner, near the heavy red door. The Ascension Card is on the table with a lit lamp, next to a fan and a large piece of paper.
Envision With Shocking Clarity
Drop into the area with the large crane, and kill the Ascendants and the Gearhead that arrives after you do. Head to the upper right side of the area, go up the stairs near the generator, and the Ascension Card is on the table next to an open box.
Embrace The Shadow
Peshanden
Once you’ve split up with Buchra, sneak off the broken elevator and around down into the area full of Ascendants. Head to the lower right corner, and to the platform covered by a green tarp. The Ascension Card is on the crate by the edge of the railing, next to two stools.
