The Casting of Frank Stone’sninth chapter returns to a younger Linda in 1980 after having faced off against the titular killer. She’s not out of the woods yet; hell, she’s not even out of the Mill. Of course, Linda has had quite a traumatic experience already, so hopefully we can guide her to something a bit brighter.
Depending on whether you got hooked or not, this chapter plays out very differently, so let’s dive into the two possible paths. This walkthrough will go over every choice you make in this chapter, and all the actions you’ll need to take.
If Linda Got Hooked
Chapter 9 is incredibly short if you got caught by Frank Stonein the Wagon Shed. Bonnie will pull you off the hook and you’ll leave to the courtyard together in a cutscene.
Once outside, Frank reemerges and you must climb up a ledge to get out of reach. Linda pulls Bonnie up and the two survive,ending the chapter.
If Jaime is still alive at this point, you’ll have tocomplete a quick time eventto pull him up. Fail this, and he’ll die right in front of his sister.
If Linda Escaped The Wagon Shed
If you managed to get the Scissor Lift working and escaped Frank,you’ll find Linda in a rundown bathroom.
Leave through the door andcrawl under the lockers to your right.Turn around andlook to the rightand you’ll see another locker,open it to get a key.
Crawl back under the lockers, turn right, and squeeze through a gap between the wall and some more lockers.Unlock the locked locker(take a shot every time we say locker) andinspect the Grandmother Letter Artifact.
Next,climb over the lockers to your rightand open the double doors.Inspect the boilers right in front of youto discover thatthey need fixing.
Where To Find The Two Boiler Parts
Head back to the locker room, climb over the fallen locker, andpick up a valve in one of the already opened lockers.
The second valve can be found in the bathroomat the beginning.
Head back to the boilers andrepair themso that you canexit via the doorwaythat was previously blocked.
Head downstairsand through the door,take a right at the junction, andpick up Merlin’s collar. You’ll get theBad Dog trophyhere.
How To Find Frank’s Nest
Keep going until you cancrouch under a shutterandcrawl under some pipesand you’ll find two doors. The right one is locked, but the left one can be opened.
Go into the left room, crawl under the arch, and you’ll loop into the right room.On the desk to your immediate right, you’ll findthe Frank’s Journal Artifact.
Afterwards,pull back the metal panel at the end of the roomto uncover Frank’s Nest. You’ll findthe DoctorDead by DaylightDollin this room.
Once you’re done,exit back to the hallwayandtake a right to reach a ladder,which will take you back to the Furnace and end the chapter.
