Rekais a cozy game about being a witch, so it makes sense that you can look equally-as-cozy. Prior to diving in, you’ll be able to customize your character, choosing their features and outfit. While this can’t be tweaked freely, you will eventually be able to change your appearance.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to change your appearance. This will involve searching for a magic mirror, but once this has been acquired, you can then change your outfit whenever you feel like it! We’ll also briefly touch on how to get new outfits.
Reka is currently in Early Access on Steam and as such, the content is subject to change. We will update these articles as required.
How To Find The Mirror
In order to change your appearance, you will need to find a mirror.Thankfully, this can be rather early into the game within abandoned buildings. After getting settled in your house andproceeding to the second area to complete the Trial of the Forest Spirit, you can set out to find the mirror.
On the map above, you’re able to see the location highlighted with both an icon and the player marker, which is slightly southwest of the ‘N’ on the map. This will not always appear in the same spot for you though, so it’s important to do some searching around. Sincemaps are randomly generated, you will need to find it yourself.
Inside the building, you will see themirror surrounded by unlit mirrors.Your goal is to light all the candles in the area; this can be done byhovering over and interacting with each one. With a snap of your fingers, the candles will light.
At this point, you caninteract with the mirror and eventually take it with you.
Be sure to head into the back area of the building! There is a chest there with some clothes inside.
How To Use The Mirror
With the mirror grabbed, you can nowplace it down from the build menu.Once placed, simply interact with it to change your look.
The mirror takes up a lot of space with its attached carpet,so make sure to clear some space.
Clothes can be obtained byexploring around the world and completing quests for NPCs. Whenever you go somewhere new, be sure totalk to everyone and open any chests you see lying around.
