Hello Kitty Island Adventurebrings all the cozy vibes of Animal Crossing with an adorable Hello Kitty twist, and the quests are just as charming. One of the most delightful challenges you’ll come across is the Laziest Egg Quest, starring Gudetama, the world’s most relaxed egg.
But before you’re able to crack open this adventure, you’ll need to flex your photo skills in the Gudetama Snap Quest for Pochacco. Think it’s easy? Well, those eggs have a knack for scrambling your plans. This guide will help you start, continue, and complete the quest — and maybe teach you to keep an eye out for the laziest of treasures.
How To Unlock The Laziest Egg Quest
To unlock the Laziest Egg Quest, you mustfirst complete the Gudetama Snap Quest.To start the Gudetama Snap Quest,speak to Pochaccoandobtain the camerafrom him. Your mission will be tosnap six photos of Gudetama Eggsscattered across the island.
These eggs can be tricky to spot, as they blend in with their surroundings and can be foundperched on rocks, floating in water, hidden among bushes,orplaced on various itemsaround the island. You’ll need to be observant as you search for the eggs, keeping an eye out for any sign of Gudetama peeking out from unexpected places.
While there are several Gudetama Eggs to be found, here are six key locations to help you get started:

How To Start The Laziest Egg Quest
Once you’ve successfully completed the Gudetama Snap Quest and photographed enough Gudetama Eggs, you will unlock the Laziest Egg Quest. This quest becomes available each week, meaningyou’ll need to visit Pochacco regularlyto initiate it. When you begin, Pochacco will task you withfinding a special Top Hat Gudetama.
Unlike the Gudetama Eggs from the previous quest, this one is a bit more stylish, sporting a small purple top hat.
How To Find Top Hat Gudetama
Locating Top Hat Gudetama is no easy feat, ashis location changes weekly.You’ll never find him in the same spot twice, and he can be hidden anywhere on the island,including in water, atop rocks,orbehind bushes.Patience and sharp eyes will be your allies as you hunt for him.
During our search, we found the Top Hat Gudetama at the eastern edge of Spooky Swamp, resting on some rocks. While this may vary for your weekly attempt, it serves as an example of the types of places you’ll want to check thoroughly.
How To Complete The Laziest Egg Quest
To finish the Laziest Egg Quest,simply use the cameraPochacco gave you (found in your toolbar) tosnap a photo with the Top Hat Gudetama.Once you’ve taken the picture,head back to Pochaccoto complete the quest. After turning it in,you’ll receive your rewardsand be set to take on the quest again next week.
