Dragon Age: The Veilguardbrings back old friends along with new companions like Bellara. During the In Entropy’s Grasp quest, you’re tasked with meeting Bellara Lutare and helping her find a lost power crystal. After journeying to the Veil Bubble, you encounter some minor challenges on your way to meet Bellara.
However, once you finally team up with Bellara, the real trouble starts, as you’re faced with several groups of enemies during In Entropy’s Grasp. Darkspawn, Shades, and Sentinels await you on this perilous journey to the Floating Archive Temple in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
How To Help Bellara Reach The Floating Archive Temple In Entropy’s Grasp
Once you defeat the first sentinel in the Veil Bubble forest area, you’ll sharea brief conversation with Bellara,where she asks for your helpfinding her Power Crystal.
With Bellara enlisted, you’re ready to continue the quest.
Progress along the route anddefeat enemies on The Forest Pathuntil you eventually reach theElven Temple.
Make a left down the hallway and progress.
Don’t forget tograb the chestcontainingvaluables, armor,and somegold.
Once you’re done, exit through the large door and progress to the continuation of theForest Pathuntil you eventually come to theRuins Approach.
You’ll see atriangular artifactthat Bellara comments on – pick up this strangeElven technologyand place itin the receptacle.
With the triangular artifact placed,an upward-sloping bridge will form,leading you to theMountain Path.
To your leftfrom the top of the slope, you’ll noticeanother Elven devicethat you can interact with.
However, this time you shoulduse Bellara’s Tinkerability from your skill menu todeactivate the device.
Doing this will triggerShadesto spawn; defeat them and move on.
Follow your marker and continue along theMountain Pathand under an archway.
Enter theCliff Wolf Templearea and defeat the constructs guarding the area with two doors flanked bymore Elven triangle artifact receptacles.
Once you clear the rooms, remove the artifact from the left door andtransfer it to the receptacle next to the door on the rightto open it.
Collect the chest down the hall with more valuables and gold.
Enter the next area anddefeat the constructshere before moving on.
Follow your marker to an outcropping where you’llencounter a horrific sight.
Deal With The Darkspawn
Some Darkspawn are devouring a dead animal, but they pause their meal to fight you; defeat them, and move on.
You’ll come acrossanother resonance amplifierto use Tinker on.
Once Bellara finishes shutting down this second machine,more Darkspawn will appearfor you to deal with before you can continue.
Keep following the path until you come across a massiveballista.
Use the ballista to break the wallin front of you, then continue firing to defeat the Darkspawn minions that emerge once the wall is gone.
Progress along the route to theAbandoned Camp,where you’ll finda third resonance amplifieryou can shut down with Bellara.
Defeat the group of sentinelsthat come to life after the machine is shut down, and thefinal barrier will be down.
From here, keep following the quest marker intothe Broken Stairwayand up the coiling path.
When you get to the top, you’ll encounter aFrenzied Sentinelguarding a chest andtwo doors.
Clear out the Darkspawn minions that appear to fight, or they can overwhelm you.
Defeat the Frenzied Sentinel and turn your attention to the doors on theleft– which is where you need to go through.
However, the door is sealed by another triangular artifact lock, and there’s currently only one Elven artifact in its proper place.
To the left of the door, you’ll seea second Elven artifact locked behind a gate.
Grab the first Elven artifactand take it out into the area where you fought the Frenzied Sentinel, where you’ll see another door.
Place the artifactin the receptacle next to that door, and enter.
Follow the stairs up until you encounter aballista blocked by a Blight Boil.
Destroy the Blight Boil and pilot the ballista,using it to break the wall in front of you, which willopen a path to the other Elven artifact you need.
Defeat the enemies, then head through the newly broken wall to grab the Elven artifact and bring it tothe door with two receptacles.
Then, grab the first artifact you used to open the first door, and return it to its original spot toopen the door to the Floating Archive Temple.
Collect the chest in this room, then head toward the marker until youtrigger a cutscene.
How To Get Bellara’s Power Crystal
After the cutscene ends, you’ll be face to face with a giantOgre you’ll need to defeat.
The Ogre is weak against fire, so prepare to use any skills with this effect, if available.
This fight is no joke, and you shouldproceed cautiouslyor risk being defeated in a few hits.
The Ogre’s club is incredibly dangerous and willglow bright redwhen it’s about to unleash anunblockable attack.
Roll to avoidthese unblockable attacks at all costs, as being hit by one can decimate your health pool.
Be sure to use any abilities you have that canstaggerthe Ogre, like the Warrior’sDriving Kick skill.
Staggeringyour enemy will allow you tochain multiple hitsand deal plenty of damage in a short span.
Congratulations; once you’ve defeated the Ogre, enjoy the cutscene featuring the Nadas Dirthalen and experience points you earn from returning Bellara’s Power Crystal, thuscompletingthis sectiononce you speak with Bellara.
