There is so much to explore during your time playingBlack Myth: Wukong, but as you progress, the difficulty increases, especially during boss encounters. This is why it’s essential to craft new weapons and armor sets to boost your stats and improve your chances of survival in these challenging encounters.
Kun Steelis a mystical weapon crafting material found in various ways throughout the world, used to craft powerful staves for the Destined One. However, it is limited, as you can only acquire a total of six during a single playthrough.
We recommend collecting all six Kun Steel items during your playthrough before beginning a New Cycle.
Kun Steel Location #1
While you may encounter the requirement forKun Steelearly in Chapter Three, you won’t be able to obtain the first Kun Steeluntil you reach the end of Chapter Four.
Toward the end of this chapter, you’ll face theHundred-eyed Daoist Master. After defeating it,you’ll receive the first Kun Steel in the game.
Kun Steel Location #2
The second Kun Steel can also be found during Chapter Four, but it’s only accessible once youreach its secret location known as Purple Cloud Mountain.

In this secret area, you must progress until you reach the final boss known asThe Duskveil. Once you defeat it, you’ll obtainthe second Kun Steelcrafting material.
Kun Steel Location #3
Much like the first Kun Steel, after reachingChapter Five, you need tocomplete itby defeating the final boss known asYaksha King.
After that, you’ll get the third Kun Steel.
Kun Steel Location #4
DuringChapter Five, you will have a chance to acquire another Kun Steel by finding a specific chest. To reach it, start from theFurnace Valley - Valley Entranceshrine and progress forward until youreach the lower area where the lava level is.
Drop down to the lava level andmove to the left sideuntil you reach the end, where you’ll spotan enemy standing near a golden chest. Defeat the enemy andopen the chestto obtain thefourth Kun Steel.
Kun Steel Location #5
The fifth Kun Steel requires you todefeat the Yellow Loong in Chapter Five, located at theRelief of the Fallen Loong Keeper’s Shrine.
However, before you’re able to fight him, you must acquire the Loong Scales key item and defeat all three Loong Dragon bosses:Red Loong,Black LoongandCyan Loong.
Only after that can you head to the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine and find him at the top of the path on the right side.Defeat him to obtain another Kun Steel.
Kun Steel Location #6
The final Kun Steel available in the game is likely the last one you’ll find and the most demanding, as it requires you tounlock all secret areasandachieve the secret ending, where you’ll have to fightErlang, the Sacred Divinity.
After a lengthy battle against him, once you defeat him,you’ll obtain the last Kun Steel in the game.
