While you may’t hire employees, you can adopt some lovely little helpers that are a hoot! We’ll show you how to find these new friends and add them to your tavern to make daily chores less of a hassle.
How To Get Helpers
Whether you just want some more interaction within your tavern or you desperatelyneed help to keep up with ordersin your establishment, everyone can use a little helper.Head to the merchant’s tentand interact with the shop menu to find just what you need.
Under the furniture tab, you can find both the Waiter Helper House and the Cleaner Helper House. Theycost 1,800 gold, which is a hefty sum, but they are a great investment for your tavern.
There are several color variations, similar to the livestock, but you won’t be able to manually pick which color you get.
You canplace these houses inside your establishmentif you have the space or put them on the front porch to save room. These decorative little homes will house the newest additions to your tavern: helper owls!
What Do Helpers Do?
Helpers are designed tomake life easierin your tavern. If you need a steady stream of income from your growing establishment but also want to explore and gather ingredients, these feathered friends can pitch in!
While they can run the tavern on their own, it’s best not to leave them alone for too long.
Thetwo types of helpersgreatly encompass the duties you handle while running your business, and if you set them up for success, you can reach new levels of profits.
Both types ofhelpers have inventoriesyou can access, and you can alsoinstruct them to wait at their houseif you want to handle things yourself.
The Waiter Helper
In the red helper house, you’ll find an owl that’s quite sociable. This creature will help youtake customer orders and deliver mealsand drinks to the right tables.
This gives you more time towork in the kitchen and cut down on the wait timesfor your customers, leading to a higher tavern turnaround. The faster you serve orders, the happier your customers are!
Make sure you put the dishes and drinks on the counter so the owls can reach them!
However,the waiter doesn’t cookand won’t access any meals stored in chests. They alsocan’t replace barrelsonce empty, so you’ll need to do the heavy lifting on your own.
The Cleaner Helper
Perhaps the most beneficial, the Cleaner Helper will do your dirty work for you. Specifically, they’llclean up webs, mop puddles, and clear away any dirtand debris in your tavern to keep things sanitary.
They’ll alsocollect dirty dishes from customersthat leave and pop the plates and mugs in the dishwasher for you. They won’t wash them, but they will keep your establishment from looking like a garbage dump.
