Reaper Career Overview

The reaper career is afully active ten-level careerthat sees Sims learn how to reap souls and help out Grim himself. You’ll work alongside him in theHeadlessquarters, doingresearch and adminalongside practicalfieldwork.

The Practice Reaping

Regular Reapings

Regular reapingssometimes involve a couple of preparation tasks,and other times not. you may do the preparation regardless, but it will onlyimprove the chance of successful soul collecting,unless it is displayed as a goal.

Once you get to your location, the tasks here will be:

Youwon’t have all of these optionsduring each event, but you willalwayshave to investigate anddetermine the cause of death,collect the soul,andreturn to the office,along with aroundthree other tasks.

Plea Bargains

Tasks involving plea bargains follow almost the same process as regular reapings butinstead of speaking to witnesses,you’ll need tofind the Sim with ‘Listen to Plea’on their social menu.

Once you’ve listened, you will get a pop-up menu which allows you to selectcollect soul or spare life. If you choosecollect soul,theprocess resumes as usual.If you select tospare a Simthen you can go to the body and choose’Revive’.

You may need to speak to witnesses at this point, but often you’ll justreturn to the office.

You canrevive as many people as you like, but you will find itharder to meet the soul quota.

Collecting Souls And Closing Fissures

These tasks are muchfaster and more straightforwardthan the others. You’ll land on anempty lotwhich will contain only three things,netherworld fissures, souls, and Grimbrosia ingredients.

With thenetherworld fissures,you canreach inside them, or seal them.Reaching inside can grant a reward or an uncomfortable debuff, so make your choice before you seal them up. Both options are available byclicking the fissure.Just note that even if you reach inside you’ll alsostill have to close it.

To collect a soul, simplyclick it and collect. It’s also worth noting that often there aretwo or three more souls on the lot than you’ll needto hit the criteria. Make sure tocollect them allas they all count towards your quota!

Finally, thesource of Grimbrosia is a plant,and usually there aretwo on the lot to collect.

After this,return to the office.Your first task will be tomake Grimbrosiaand benefit from therelationship boost with Grimby gifting it to him.

Emergencies

Occasionally, you’ll need to stay put to deal with anoffice emergency. When this happens, you’ll noticea lot of chaosin theheadlessquarters. Here’s what you’re likely to have to deal with:
