Diablo 4’s endgame is all about grinding for rare items in the hopes that they roll higher stats than the items you were using before. Searching for extremely rare items like the Mythic Uniques to top off your build will keep you busy for many hours while providing a long-term endgame goal.
Luckily, you aren’t always at the whims of RNG, and craft the Mythic Uniques you want using Resplendent Sparks and different types of rare Runes. Resplendent Sparks only have a few sources, which we’ll take a look at below.
How To Get Resplendent Sparks
Resplendent Sparks are one of the rarest resources in the game, only dropping from a few sources. Below, you can find details on each of the methods for obtaining Resplendent Sparks.
Echo Of Lilith
TheEcho of Lilith, or Uber Lilith, always drops a Resplendent Sparkthe first time you defeat her. Uber Lilith can be summoned by progressing through theEcho of Hatred questthat unlocks after switching toTorment difficultyfor the first time.
Uber Lilith is one of the hardest bosses in the game, so you’ll definitely need to be geared up accordingly. With a strong enough build, you may skip mechanics and phases, so we definitely recommend over-gearing for this fight if you can.
Tormented Bosses
In a similar vein, defeatingany of the Tormented Bossesfor the first timewill reward you with one Resplendent Spark. There are six different Tormented Echo bosses, and each requires differentsummoning materialsto challenge.
2x Shard of Agony
2x Sandscorched Shackles
2x Pincushioned Doll
You’re onlyguaranteed to get one Resplendent Spark the first time you defeat a Tormented Bossduring the Season, so this isn’t a repeatable method for getting this resource.
Season Chapter Destroyer’s Cache
You can get one Resplendent Spark per Season by completing thefinal chapter of the Season Journey Challenges. The challenges change each Season, but if you complete all of them, you’ll earn aDestroyer’s Cache, which contains one Resplendent Spark, among other resources.
Season Reputation Rewards
Each Season, you’re able to raise yourReputationwith a different faction in Sanctuary by completing Season-specific objectives. Sometimes, one of the final rewards of the Reputation reward track will be acache containing a Resplendent Spark.
This can only be completedonce per Season, and this reward is not guaranteed to be offered every Season, so take it as a bonus if it is available.
Salvage Mythic Uniques
The only way to repeatedly get Resplendent Sparks is tosalvage them from Mythic Uniques. Luckily, salvaging one of these pieces of equipment isguaranteed to return one Resplendent Spark.
Mythic Uniques are therarest pieces of equipmentin the game, and have a verysmall chance to drop from Tormented Bosses, only inTorment 1 or higher difficulty. As mentioned above, you will need tospend different materials to summon these bosses. The materials are acquired from various endgame modes, likeNightmare Dungeons,Helltide, the Undercity, and more.
Of all the Tormented Bosses,DurielandAndarielhave thehighest chances of dropping Mythic Uniques, so these will be the best option for farming Resplendent Sparks.
How To Use Resplendent Sparks
Resplendent Sparks are used to craft Mythic Uniques at either the Blacksmith or the Jeweler. At the Blacksmith, you can spend two Resplendent Sparks and 50 million gold to get a random Mythic Unique, and at the Jeweler you can spend two Sparks and various sets of Runes to craft a Mythic Unique of your choosing.

There are several Mythic Uniques that can’t be crafted at the Jeweler, likeDoombringerorThe Grandfather. These can be obtained from therandom Mythic Unique cachecrafted at the Blacksmith instead.
