Does Dragonball: Sparking Zero Have Rollback Netcode?

Dragonball: Sparking Zerodoes not have rollback netcode. Leading producer Jun Furutani confirmed this detail before the game’s launch in June 2024.

Since rollback netcode reduces lag by predicting opponent behavior, DB Sparking Zero’s 3D Arena combat is likelytoo open-ended to predict compared totraditional 2D fighting games like Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Does Dragonball: Sparking Zero Support Cross-Play?

Dragonball: Sparking Zerodoes not support cross-play. According to an interview with IGN in September 2024,Jun Furutani explained thatcomplex technical issuesprevented online cross-play.

With this information in mind, theprobability of cross-play becoming available in a future patch is slim. But we will update you if this changes.

Advanced players can graduate toZ-Rank, dedicated to Sparking Zero’s most skilled players.

Rankings

Rankings mode is where you can track yourcompetitive rank,your rivals' ranks, andSparking Zero’s top 100 players. An additional filter lets you view the top 100 Z-Rank players.

World Tournament

World Tournamentis another casual matchmaking mode that lets youhost or join fighting tournamentsusing one of Sparking Zero’s premade rulesets or your own.

World Library

World Library is where you canplay Custom Battles uploaded by players worldwide. You can also submit your Custom Battles for others to play. You can win player titles when online players like your battles.
