During your time playingRemnant 2, you’ll come across a variety of unique weapons, each with its own mechanics and mods. These weapons are essential for defeating the numerous enemies and bosses you encounter throughout the game.
With each new DLC released for the game, you can expect to acquire new tools to add to your arsenal, including melee weapons, guns, rings, and amulets. These additions will help you navigate the dangerous worlds you encounter. However, not all weapons are straightforward to obtain, and this is especially true for the Black Greatsword.
Don’t forget to have the Dark Horizon DLC installed; otherwise, you won’t be able to obtain the new crafting material for the Black Greatsword.
How To Get The Black Greatsword
There are a couple of steps you need to complete before unlocking the new melee weapon, theBlack Greatsword.
First, make your way to Ward 13 andvisit Brabus in the firing rangenear the World Stone. Interact with him to access his shop.
If you haven’t purchased any of his weapons yet, now is the time tobuy each and every one he has for sale; that’s step one.
If you’ve already purchased the weapons while playing the base game, you’re good to go.
The next step is tocomplete the campaignanduse the Forgotten Memory crafting materialdropped by thefinal boss of the base game Annihilationat McCabe, tocraft the Alpha-Omega Long Gun.
Once these two requirements are done,head back to Brabusandexhaust all his dialogue options. After this, he will give youthe Black Metal Bars.
Take this new crafting material to McCabeand select the dialogue option “I have something for you to look at” to give her the new crafting item.
After that, fast travel to any other location and come back, then speak to her again. This time, you will see an option that says “Is it done?”
Click on it, and after the dialogue,you will acquire the Black Greatsword.
