The dancer is quite possibly the best rapier user in the game. She does everything fairly well, while also being a strong magic user. This easily makes her one of the strongest classes in the game (and that isn’t even mentioning her strong class ability). However, given the work you need to do, that is quite well-earned.
Where To Recruit The Dancer
You can recruit the dancer simply by talking to her in the Atlanticus tavern after watching her perform a dance. You need to complete the Mermaid quest, from beginning to end, with one emperor. If your emperor dies, or there is a time skip, you will fail the mermaid quest.As far as we can tell, it is impossible to recruit the dancer if you fail that quest.
Dancer Class Breakdown
The Dancer is among the most versatile classes in the game. Her worst stats are her strength and vitality, but even those stats are pretty close to average. Beyond that, she is fast and dexterous while having a very high magic stat. She is skilled with the rapier and with water magic.That speed helps her go toe-to-toe in melee combat, while she’salsoset to be a strong water magic user.
Additionally, the dancer’s class ability - Penny Pincher - will recover a quarter of the unite attack’s Overdrive gauge after you land an overdrive attack. Meaningshe will greatly enhance your ability to land the most powerful attack in the game more frequently.
