With each new DLC released forRemnant 2, you can expect to acquire new tools to add to your arsenal, including melee weapons, guns, rings, and amulets. These tools are essential for surviving and defeating the numerous enemies and bosses you will encounter throughout the game.

While you will naturally find many of them as you explore, not all are easy to obtain. Some require you to solve a puzzle, complete a secret quest, reach a hidden area, or even defeat a boss in a specific way. There are multiple boss fights with two possible drops depending on how you defeat them, which affects which weapon you’ll be able to craft.

How To Get The Dark Matter Gauntlets

to obtainthe Dark Matter Gauntlets melee weapon, you first need to acquire the crafting material known asBlack Mass, which can be obtained from the final boss of the Dark Horizon DLC, Alepsis-Taura.

However, before you fight this boss, you must complete a requirement to get the Black Mass material drop from him.

If you’ve been exploring the Dark Horizon for a while,you should have noticed two white beams coming from different orbs around the map.

These are powering up the final boss, and you need tolocate and destroy their source crystals.

The locations of the two crystals can vary, asyou must complete dungeons marked by the arch door.

After completing these dungeons, you will be transported to an area where you can reach the crystals and destroy them by shooting them.

Not all of the dungeons will take you to the crystal area; only two of them will, so keep that in mind.

In our case, the two dungeons were Putrid Domain and Spectrum Nexus, but it can be any dungeon in the DLC sincethis is random.

Once you havedestroyed both crystals and no longer see the white beams, make your way to the area where the final boss is and engage in the fight.

After you defeat him,you will receive the Black Mass crafting material.

Take this crafting material to McCabe at Ward 13, andyou will be able to craft the Dark Matter Gauntlets, along with 1,000 scrap and seven Lumenite Crystals.
