With your repute ever-growing, side requests are bound to come your way. One such quest is Deeds and Diversions.
Recovering the Deed from the pretentious Ishkia noble for this quest may seem easy enough, but things are rarely that simple. A bit of negotiation and a full-fledged dungeon delve into the Forsaken Tower will be required to set things right.
How To Start Deeds And Diversions
On 7/23, the day after the Exhibition of the Brave, you’ll finally get toroam Brilehaven at your own pace, where several NPCs have quest markers. TheOverfamiliar Man outside Nightprowlerwilloffer you the Deeds and Diversions quest, asking for your help in retrieving his Deed from an ishkia noble.
How To Get The Deed
The noble you’re after iswell-known for his love for bloodsport, as hinted by the quest-giver. Naturally, you’ll find him around theVarmareno Coliseum in Arenafront Wharf,dressed inpurple.
When you approach him,don’t straight to the chase about the Deed. Instead, choose the proper dialogue options tosubtly guide the topic toward the Deed.
Unfortunately,you’ll hit a conversational roadblockunless you’ve already tackledthe Forsaken Tower and slain the Orgas. This boss encounter is also tied to theSuperior Scrimshawquestgiven by the Craftsman in Merchant Bazaar, which involves obtaining an Ebony Horn by defeating the Orgas.
Defeat Orgas In The Forsaken Tower
To unlock travel to the Forsaken Tower,speak with the Seasoned Man in the Greatest Catch Tavernand purchase theFiend of the Forsaken Towerinformation for 1,800 Reeve. This will allow you to travel to the tower via your Gauntlet Runner — athree-day journeycomplete with hurdles from rival Gauntlet Runners and a stop at Gracia Forest.
In Garia Forest, you’re able to alsocomplete theSoldier’s Solacequest given by the Exhausted Woman in Angler’s Inn Square, so make the most of this trip while you’re at it.
The Forsaken Tower itself is simple in layout, thoughthe monsters dwelling inside are anything but. Once you reach the top,you’ll face Orgas, an extremely challenging boss. To stand a fighting chance against it,the Healer, Thief, and Faker archetypes are absolutely recommended.
Pompous Noble Correct Dialogues
After defeating Orgas and obtaining the Ebony Horn, you can safely return to the port city toturn in the craftsman’s request the next day. Then make your way to the noble once more anduse the following dialogue optionsto keep the conversation flowing toward the Deed:
Quest Rewards For Deeds And Diversions
After the conversation,the noble will finally part with the Deed, and you canreturn it to the Overfamiliar Man to complete the Deeds and Diversionsquest. Of course, he’ll reward you with aChef’s Toqueand10,000 Reeveas promised.
