Remnant 2is filled with puzzles and secrets waiting for you to discover and complete, and each one requires a different method of solving. With the last two DLCs for the game, we’ve seen that they continue to introduce secrets and puzzles, some of which are even more interesting and potentially harder to figure out than we might expect.
The Dark Horizon, which is the third DLC in the game, is no exception, as it features its fair share of secrets and puzzles that you’re able to complete to obtain armor sets or new secret weapons. Among these is the Genesis Bow, which is locked behind one of the most confusing puzzles in the entire game.
The directions provided in this guide are based on theOne Time Adventure of The Dark Horizon DLC, so if you’ve rerolled, the location might be different, but the puzzle solution remains the same.
How To Get The Genesis Bow
How To Reach The Glyph Puzzle
The Genesis Bow is acquired through a glyph puzzlefound in the Dark Horizon DLC, so first, you need to locate it.
Starting from theWaylaid Conservatory checkpointin the Withered Necropolis, exit the room and follow the path straight ahead until youreach the glider. Use it tohover downand navigatethrough the gapin the wall ahead.
Here, use the wind vent to your advantage andmake your way to the right, circling around the building.
As soon as you reach thenext wind vent, use it to gain height and immediately turn leftuntil you spot a faint glow where you’re able to land. After you land, enter the room, and you will see the glyph puzzle you need to complete.
How To Solve The Glyph Puzzle
Once you interact with the glyph puzzle, you will see two rows of five symbols. The symbols in the top row change every hour in real life, while the bottom row remains static.
In order to solve the puzzle, you need totake note of the symbols in the top row and the time displayed on your platform. Then, you mustwait for 23 hoursand write down the symbols you noted from the past dayon the bottom row.
Sounds annoying, right? Fortunately, there is a workaround.
Depending on your gaming platform, the trick is tochange the symbols on the bottom row to match those on the top.
While the game is open, head to the settings of your platform andchange the time to one hour back.
Return to the game andhit open, and the door should unlock, revealingthe Genesis Bowwaiting for you.
A couple of pointers to keep in mind if it doesn’t work on the first try: you cantry this method offlineon your platform, especially on consoles, deactivate the automatic timeor sometimesa restart can helpas well.
We have tested this method on multiple characters across PC and PS5, and we can confirm that it works.
