Dead Rising Deluxe Remasterhas many weapons for you to choose from, allowing you to fend off the horde of undead nightmares with anything ranging from a Watergun to a Rocket Launcher and pretty much anything and everything in between, making it a delight to revisit or play for the first time.

The Katana is an extremely dominant weapon that will never overstay its welcome and remains useful throughout the entire game. And the kicker is that you can snag it right off the bat, which will give you a tremendous push and upper hand, making your chance of survival seem guaranteed.

Paradise Plaza Katana Location

Paradise Plazais thedefault area you will have access to after playing through the game’s introductionand exiting the Security Room for the first time. This area will have all sorts of shops to explore, giving you access to many items right from the jump.

Butone of the best items here is the Katana,which ishidden away atop an awning on the second floor.While sneakily placed out of sight and out of mind, tracking it down isn’t hard at all once you know where to look!

How To Obtain The Katana In Paradise Plaza

Afterheading up the stairs and entering the second floorof Paradise Plaza,follow the pathway around until you reach a cantinaarea calledColombian Roastmasters.Enter the store andhead toward the multi-deck fridgeat the backof the store, where you can pick up gallons of Orange Juice.

Look over the railing directly to the right of the fridgeto see anorange awning.Atop this awning will be theKatana.Simplyclimb over the railing and onto the awning and grab the Katana.Simple. Right? This Katana is a permanent item, meaningit will always respawn here,allowing you to pick it up whenever you wish!

Entrance Plaza Katana Location

Oursecond Katanawill be found in theEntrance Plazasection of the mall. Thisarea becomes available fairly early on,andyou will be trekking through it quite a lot,making it an excellent area to stock up on Katanas whenever you need them—which is going to be a lot.

You willfind it in the antique store on the second floor,which isn’t too hard to find, especially if you use the map to pinpoint its location. Nonetheless, having unlimited access to Katanas will make your life drastically easier!

How To Obtain The Katana In Entrance Plaza

Once at the Entrance Plaza,head up the escalators and take a left.From here, follow the narrow pathwayuntil you find a shop calledNed’s Knicknackeries on your right.Open the door or smash the windows toenter the shop and head toward the very back leftof it.

Here, you will find adisplay case with a Katanabehind it.Break the glass and grab the Katana.You may notice that you cancontinuously pick up Katanashere. That’s because you cangrab as many as you wish; it’s an infinite spawn for the weapon,making it a godsend if you want to carry more than two.

Other Katana Locations

There is athird locationwhere you can obtain aKatana,and that’s in theRipper’s Bladesshop in theNorth Plaza.However, youwon’t come here until a bit of a way into your journey,andyou won’t be in this area nearly as often as the othersoutlined above, making it not really worth seeking out, especially when the others are so easy to reach and are in areas you will constantly be moving through.
