When you talk to Lucas in Dead World, he seems rather protective of whatever is in his briefcase. What could be in there that he doesn’t want you to see? And could he be somehow connected to all this? It’s up to you to find out, but how do you get into his briefcase?

How To Unlock Lucas' Briefcase

In the Living World, someone threw acow skull through Safi’s windshield, the very cow skull that used to hang above the stage in the Snapping Turtle. After examining the skull,you learn that it was signed by Lucas Colmenero, and that he was the one whodonated the skull to the restaurant.

It’s time to talk to him andfind out what he knows. In both Dead World and Living World, you’ll find him working at a tableby the café in the Fine Arts Building.

FAB Shift Point In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure.

You have to talk to Living World Lucas first. When you do,he slams his briefcase shut and locks it. Then, when he gets a phone call, he takes the key and walks away from the table.

To unlock the briefcase, you’ll need toshift to Dead World and talk to Lucas there. There’s a shift point close by, near Max’s exhibit. Use it to shift to Dead World and talk to Lucas.

During this interaction you can alsoexamine the stacks of his book, which will trigger a different conversation with Lucas, during which he offers you totake a copy.

After the conversation,you have to find a way to distract Lucasso you can get the briefcase key. What better way to distract an author who thinks really highly of himself than bydefacing his cardboard standee for the book expo?

Unlocking Lucas’s Briefcase In Life Is Strange: Double Exposure.

Examine the standee first totrigger the Vandalize Lucas’s Standee task, then walk over to the café and take the permanent marker from the counter.

Head back to the standee and when you select the Vandalize option, you’ll get to choose if you want todraw him as a devil, or draw a black eye.

Before talking to Lucas about the vandalized standee, you have the option totake a snapshot of the damage and post it to the Crosstalk app.

Next, talk to Lucas again to tell him about the vandalism. When he gets up to investigate, that’syour chance to take the briefcase key and head back to Living World and unlock the briefcase.

Inside Lucas' briefcase, Max finds a restraining order against Living World Safi,which will lead you to a very important question:should you tell Safi or help Lucas?
