Acquiring The Ninja Class

In Yuyan, head to the northern tip of the town. You’ll encounter a ninja there. As you approach her, she’ll tell you, unprompted, that she plans to rob Castle Chonto blind. The next part of this quest will require you to head to Castle Chonto (duh), however, you will need to have talked to the emperor of Castle Chonto already in order to continue this section of the Ninja quest.Once you have done so, and war has been declared, return to Castle Chonto and enter the castle dungeon.

You get far before you’ll find that same impulsive ninja stuck in a booby-trapped room. She’ll ask you to stand on a massive wooden platform. Do so, and you will become trapped yourself (ninja are tricky like that). Thankfully, due to two Battle Ogres rushing in, you’ll be promptly freed. Though you will have to fight those ogres now. These guys are weak to spears, water magic, and wind magic. They aren’t particularly robust, nor do they have the ability to resist any status effects.Youshouldbe able to dispatch them in a round or two. Once you beat them, the Ninja Azami will join your cause.

Breakdown Of The Ninja Class

The Ninja is an all-rounder class that emphasizes strength and speed. They specialize in martial arts, and are also proficient with great swords. Functionally, they are a variation of the martial artist class. They hit slightly harder, but have considerably less stamina. However, they make up for that by being faster and considerably more dexterous. Being able to proficiently wield the great sword as well is just the cherry on top.

Additionally, while the ninja doesn’t have an incredible magic stat, it is still far better than the martial artist, and it does mean that they can be okayish with magic as well.

What really sets the ninja apart, however, is their special class ability: Analysis. Analysis increases the damage dealt by 15% when attacking an enemy with their weakness. Once they learn this ability, it functionally makes them hit WAY harder, as you are almost always going to be targeting weaknesses.
