InRemnant 2, Traits are passive abilities that grant your character unique advantages and are essential for character development as you advance through the game. At the start, you’ll have a basic set of four Traits, but you can unlock more and more as you progress.
These Traits can be unlocked through various methods, such as defeating formidable bosses, completing specific events, helping certain NPCs, and unlocking Archetypes. With the release of each DLC, a range of new Traits has been added for you to discover, and many of them remain well hidden, requiring you to figure out how to unlock each one.
How To Unlock The Perception Trait
to obtain thePerception Trait, you must have a dungeon called theStagnant Manufactoryin your world.
If this dungeon isn’t available in your current run,you’ll need to rerollthe Dark Horizon until you find it.
Once you’ve confirmed the dungeon’s presence and reached its location, you will need to complete it byfinding six Gas Canisters scattered throughout.
Progress through the Stagnant Manufactory until you arrive at the first checkpoint, which will serve as your starting point.
Gas Canister Location #1
From the checkpoint,take the path to the leftand use the elevator to descend. Move forward, drop all the way down, and thenhead left.
Drop down once more, and you’ll spota canister filled with purple gas; that’s our first one. Be sure to shoot anddestroy it.
Gas Canister Location #2
After destroying the first canister, continue ahead andtake the path to the right.
Follow the straightforward path until you eventually reach the second canister.Don’t forget to destroy it.
Gas Canister Location #3
From the previous canister, progress forward andclimb the structure on the right side. Keep moving and thendrop downto reach the door on the left side.
Enter the door and use the elevator to ascend. In the next room,to the left side, you’ll spot the third canister, so be sure toshoot it.
Gas Canister Location #4
Follow the path behind the previous canister andclimb up the structure at the dead end, then use the ladder to ascend. Continue progressing to the right until you reach an area where thegas begins affecting your character.
Drop all the way down from there and go through the door in front of you. You’ll find another elevator; use it to reach the top. In the next room,you’ll spot the fourth canisterwaiting to be destroyed.

Right after you destroy the fourth canister, you’ll find the fifth onejust to the left side.
Gas Canister Location #6
The final canister is located along the path behind. Justkeep following it,and you’ll eventually reach it.
Final Step
Once all six canisters are destroyed, proceed to the end of the dungeon andmake your way to the control room.
Interact with the device there, andyou will receive the Perception Trait.
